Fox News

Three times in his address on 11/08/01 Bush used the words of Todd Beamer- "Let's Roll!" including to close it. Think it's possible to bump him?

Personal experience.
I guess I should have left out the part about the non-denominal churches.
- Cradle Episcopalian (that should explain it) :>)

Well, that's a stretch. I am a Lutheran and have answered to Christian all of my life. I am a Christian, but not a
Christian? I don thin sooooo.
And as for the non-denominational people....gosh, I know many and the reason they are non-denominational is because American families have done a lot of blending and some of the people I know feel that the non-denominational choice is LESS stringent and dramatic then Catholic, Lutheran, or whatever. People I know who are non-denominational or no more right-wing then I am. So, unless I completely misunderstand your post, I don't agree at all.

If you're lurking, Mr President: You're doing a fantastic job! Thank God for you and the gracious Mrs. Bush, along with Mr. Cheney, your administration, and the US military.

If you think George W. Bush is not a Christian then you haven't heard a word he has said or paid attention to him at all. And, by the way, Methodists are Christians.

Well, maybe it's me and maybe it's not, but more than once I've gotten the feeling I'm being judged unfavorably when I respond to the referenced question, "Are you a Christian?" , "I'm an Episcopalian."
As if that makes me not a Christian.
Of course, the persons who come to mind right now are all members of a Presbyterian Church.

He could just have gotten it due to Beamer, but who knows, he may be a lurker. That would be very cool.

When I'm asked if I'm a Christian, I respond that Yes, I am a Christian who attends (or is a member of or however you want to phrase that part of it) the Methodist Church.
I guess I'll have to change my answer now and respond that I'm not a Christian because I'm a Methodist ..... *grins*

Inside joke
Episcopalians can be snobby.
Episcopalians who have been so all their lives (as in from their first day in the cradle) can be really snobby.

I wonder if there is a GWB.....remember, BKO was Barbara Olson. Who knows...lol.

You can nominate yourself for a position at whitehouse.gov. Go for it....you would have to do some convincing on the importance of FR and the public mindset, though.

Thanks for the link to your movie. It's beautiful. God bless you.

Certainly he must know these things, yet he continues the lies. Why? He has never said that Islam is the true faith. He's the President of Muslims too.
As a Christian (I mean a real one), he knows that their faith is false, but do you really expect him to say that in a speech to the nation?? Really??

This is one of those phrases which would have been totally incomprehensible 40 years ago. Another example:
There's a MAC at the Wawa

"I know he's not a Christian, but is a Methodist"I sincerely hope that you don't believe that Methodists won't be allowed into Heaven. In my Bible, Jesus speaks of Himself as being the only Way, and the only One to whom we can turn to be with the Father.
I have no doubt whatsoever that my "saved" brothers and sisters come from many different denominations, and from many different churches!

We will ask state and local officials to create a new modern civil defense service, similar to local volunteer fire departments, to respond to local emergencies when the manpower of governments is stretched thin. Very good to hear.
Now whose going to fax their governor's office tommorow to start driving forward???

If Bush is spending time cruising the Internet ... well, he needs to spend more time being president. Time spent here -- FreeRepublic -- is time well spent, even for a president.

(I've been both..........never a Methodist, though.......guess that makes me better than you and the President, huh??) :o)
