Do you love America? And if this is your commitment, then I need you to start letting me know about it. The silence has been deafening.

AMEN!!
This says out loud what so many of us are *thinking* and only wish we could have *said* as succinctly. It's like the elephant in the living room, IMO.

Our "moderate" moslem population is making a big mistake if they think that the ACLU, CAIR, and the AMC will be able to shield them if more 9-11s occur, and the tracks again lead back through the mosques and cultural centers where "nobody knew a thing".

Indeed, the silence at the outrage has been deafening to me. Deafening.
If the true teachings of Islam proclaim tolerance and peace and love for all people, then I want chapter and verse from the Koran and statements from popular Muslim leaders to back it up.
Because even if the teachings in the Koran are good and pure and true, it matters little if large numbers of current Islamic practitioners interpret the teachings of Mohammed incorrectly and adhere to a degenerative form of the religion.
I read someone else's remark (not on FR) that anyone who says Islam is a peaceful religion worries him, because they teach that you are to be murdered if you leave it. Some countries are more hard-line on this than others, but the gent is correct. I do wish someone would more properly inform our president about this.

You GO, girl. As an add-on to your excellent post, it seems that what the writer is saying is an in-the-streets version of Bush's statement: Either you are with us or you are with the terrorists. So, which is it? It's a fair question to ask on our home soil, since the terrorists ate American food, slept in American beds, flew on American planes, and destroyed American lives. It isn't just germane to people on foreign soil, not after September 11.

Maybe some creative type, can come up with a bumper sticker phrase, after the successful "Sore-Loserman." Not being too creative, all I come up with is:
"Muslims--For or Against Us?
Time to Speak Up, or Leave."

Can't sleep bump. :o) Laz, how soon until you don't have to post this kind of comment any longer?

Amen Bumps.

may i infer from your #13 that you've been given hell in this regard ?
if so, and there are moderators censoring posts because of a sentiment
that probably 90% of us share, then all of us need to know about it.
at the last DC FReep, in conversation with leadpenny and federal farmer (?),
i pointed over at the White House and asked rhetorically if our President
has advisors who actually understand what this sham religion is about.
while the 'islam is peace' bullshit is obviously proselytized for PR and/or
sedative purposes, the effort will fail after another atrocity comparable to 9-11.
if that comes to pass, our resident muslims will need all the allah they can get...

This gay-socialist I used to work for had a bumper sticker that said, "Jesus, protect me from your followers"
I recommend "Allah, protect me from your followers" I think it would be a good seller...JFK

Oh my. This has obviously touched some collective American chord. How many of us are feeling this way, and are afraid to be viewed as racists or bigots? It's so much easier to say, "deport all illegals" than it is to say, "All Muslim Americans must prove to me that I need not fear them." It's their terrible silence...it is so loud.

"...On Sept. 11, nineteen Arab-Muslims hijacked four jetliners in my country..."It seems clear now, that they were from Saudi-Arabia, so call them what they were - nineteen-Arab-Muslims-from-Saudi-Arabia!!
I have to get some higher boots now because the bullshit from Washington is getting too deep!
It'll take some time, buds, but this too, shall end. Liberals piss-me-off....FRegards

Superb -- my sentiments exactly, Laz. Thanks for flagging this to me. I'm bookmarking it -- it's that good.
To: hawaiian
Yes indeed! The silence is deafening! It's time to send those who hate this country home.
