Yes, I saw Laz's post about x42. Let him talk. It only makes him look worse.
I just read that and just about lost my coffee...This useless bag of puss on a rodent's hemmoroid is beyond contempt.
Hey IXR42, THIS WAR IS YOUR FAULT ya dumb a$$...
Laz's post caught my eye too:
I have decided the press need to be mocked and put in their place. Therefore, I am instituting a daily feature on this thread. Those of you who care to may contribute. The name of the feature is:
STUPID PRESS QUESTION OF THE DAY
Please submit your nominations from the press briefings of the prior day, and when possible, name the reporter. Today I am pleased to announce the winner for yesterday, MAJOR GARRETT of CNN who asked the following question of Dr. Condoleeza Rice, National Security Advisor:
Q Dr. Rice, the administration has said the military campaign on Afghanistan is going according to plan; yet some in Afghanistan, some in Pakistan, some even in Europe are confused as to what the plan is; why hasn't more been achieved through the air campaign, when is the ground campaign going to begin in earnest? And there is some concern that this isn't going as well as the administration had originally advertised, or led the American people to believe. It's even caused anxiety in the stock market, causing, in some cases, share prices to go down. What can you tell the American people about the plan, why it's going so well, and deal with those skeptical voices, not only in the region, but among some of our European allies?
Major Garrrett is awarded the Golden Buffoon for his speech-making, his blaming the economy on President Bush, but most importantly, for actually asking when the ground war will start, resurrecting that golden oldie from the Gulf War.
I am sure that many of you will want to follow Mr. Garrett's career as he asks other probing questions. Perhaps you would like to drop him a note congratulating him on this award.
I encourage all to participate. Secretary Rumsfeld's press briefings yield lots of material, and of course Ari Fleischer is out there fielding the questions of the intellectual giants of the White House press pool every day. Keep an eye out!! You may submit the winning entry!!
His column on Monday morning expressed regret...
This might not be the Yankees' year after all...Maybe, in the aftermath of 9/11, they'd taken on too much..
Maybe they were too old...
Then he started on the D'backs...And their colors....
Gold... Teal...
AUBERGINE....AUBERGINE?????!!!!
There's no AUBERGINE in baseball!
LOL, it was a great ending to the column, and the original Tom Hanks line is one of my movie favorites.
Nice morning here...67 degrees and the sun is trying to come out.
Re: X42 and McCartney's fiance....move along...nothing to see here. I love saying that. :-) The all about me crowd sickens me to the point of completely ignoring them.
My world is tilting a bit this morning. First, Rosie O'Donnell LUVS President Bush. Geraldo is moving to Fox News. The NEA is writing impressive tomes in support of the war effort and with Kudos to Bush.
So I'm absorbing this all and pondering why the Yankees just can't come out and win a game the easy way for God's sake.
Anyway, tulip bulbs getting planted today in the hopes there'll be a spring 2002 for their bloom. As I plant I'll sing a happy tune. For I was patriotic when patriotism wasn't kewl.

Molly, glad to see you back.
Utah Girl and Kachina, condolences to you.
Illstillbe, have a safe and satisfying trip to Chicago. Two weeks will be a long time without you. Be careful wearing your "flowing things" in the Windy City lest we see a repeat of the Flying(Tiny Irish)Nun, LOL!
Miss Marple your idea is inspired regarding the question of the day.
Leaving for the you-know-where, so have a wonderful week-end everyone! The blessings continue to flow...
