HAMILTON -- Two men taken from the Greenwood Village Garden Apartments by FBI agents Monday are being held by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service, an FBI spokeswoman said yesterday.

The men, who have not been charged by the FBI in connection with any terrorist investigation, were taken from the upstairs apartment at 228 Norman Court in handcuffs, a neighbor said.

Yes, he worked for "S & S News," at newsstands in both Trenton and Jersey City.

S & S News apparently went out of business in late August.

Name is ... interesting. But thought I heard from some media source that there is no machine capable of detecting airborne anthrax spores.

Maybe his past employment gave him ideas. If I were a terrorist, and I wanted to give someone inhaled anthrax, I'd for sure want them to take some nice, deep inhalations of it. Those little magazine inserts might be one way to go. And note, they are saying (so far) that they've found no anthrax in her apartment, yet they did find some on the clothing she was wearing when admitted into the hospital. People browse at newsstands all the time, and might not necessarily buy the magazines they browse.

In a way it is because the Jihad has been planned and carried out from within the US by Muslim groups living in the US for several years now and most likely by Muslim US citizens.

You're talking about the New York hospital worker, Kathy Nguyen, who died of inhalation anthrax? I don't think the environmental tests are back yet on the Hamilton Square woman.

But, true, it does seem an easy way to spread anthrax -- stick a little powder in a magazine or newspaper insert. Inefficient way of infecting many people at one time, though.

My thoughts exactly. She might have picked up a paper he left on her subway train, too. People throw out newspapers in a day or two.

A newspaper left on a subway could infect quite a few riders. Newspapers are thrown out in a day or two, so the evidence is gone, too.

I'm also wondering if the cowards aren't contaminating newspapers with anthrax....Leaving the papers on subways for people like poor Kathy Nguyen to handle on their way home from work.
Newspapers are usually thrown out within a day or two, so even if the person brought the paper home, the evidence would be gone, before the person gets sick.
