Al Gore is so stupid it almost hurts. I am beginning to think liberals at large are kinda, well, less mature and intelligent than fellow conservatives. Just something about people I want to think are at least somewhat intelligent moaning that gore lost. Seems as if they wanted gore in because they know he is dumb and would buy their advise, thus giving um the power they miss with a genuinely smart man, like President Bush, in the WH. LOL.

Gore needs to go back to the bathroom mirror and entertain himself by combing his beard ( helps him to convince himself that he is really a man, since he has to work so hard, apparently, at determining WHO he wants to be, get some more of that good ol pot he enjoyed so many years ago, and then take to the speech circuit.

There are plenty of liberals out there to buy tickets to hear him whine and smooze and lie. (Maybe he could even book and event or two at a Buddhist temple.)

A presidential commission on airline safety formed in the wake of the July 1996 TWA 800 disaster diluted its recommendations to tighten security procedures after the major airlines donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Democratic Party, the Boston Globe reports.

Less than two months after TWA 800 exploded in a fireball over the ocean off Center Moriches, New York, the Gore Commission issued an ambitious set of proposals, including baggage matching and enhanced training for airport screeners.

But the airlines complained that the new procedures would be too time consuming, exacerbating delays and missed connections.

Days after the new recommendations were announced, major air carriers made a series of contributions to the Democratic Party:

TWA: $40,000
American Airlines: $265,000
Delta: $120,000
United: $115,000
Northwest: $87,000

In all, the airlines gave the Democratic Party $585,000 in the closing weeks of the Clinton-Gore administration's bid for a second term, the paper said, adding, "over the preceding 10-week period, the airlines gave the Democrats less than half that sum."

Former FAA inspector general Mary Schiavo pointed to a quid-pro-quo, saying that the political contributions helped the airlines avoid expensive new requirements.

A former FAA chief, Billie H. Vincent, and two Gore Commission members, Victoria Cummock and Kathleen Flynn, told the paper they agree with Schiavo.

I think the creepy liberals supporters in the more elitist positions only wanted him to run so that they could MANAGE our nation. al gore leaves me cold, big time. (And after the three debates-and his ridiculous answers, silly wording and games during those events, oh gish.....how could ANYONE with a brain cell support that goofy, immature nightmare? I mean, other than bill klinton, who needed a VP he could steamroll easily.)

It appears Algore is on a Hillary "listening tour" trying to find out if there is enough support for another run at the White House. Hopefully there isn't.

I hope Gore is not too upset by what former NY Mayor Ed Koch said about Gore in today's NYT, here:

Koch, a Democrat who supported three mayoral candidates, including Mr. Bloomberg, stopped short when asked to name the future leaders of his party, or even who might run in four years. "I don't think that Mark Green — he probably thinks of himself as the nominal leader of the Democratic Party," Mr. Koch said, and then burst out laughing. "Ha, ha, ha, ha! Like Al Gore thinks of himself as the nominal leader nationally. Neither one is true."
