How do Afghan dudes meet the Afghan babes?
Vanity ^
Posted on 10/23/2001 4:04:05 PM PDT by hawaiian
This is admittedly a strange topic, and it is a pure vanity post, but I have been wondering this now for about 3 days, and I can't figure it out. If the women in Afghan women have to be completely covered when they go out in public, HOW do Afghan guys and gals hook up? How does an Afghan guy make a judgement about whether the Afghan gal is hot or not? And what kind of social events are there that provide opportunities for Afghan flirting, etc? This makes no sense to me? How does an Afghan guy get interested in, and revved up for, an Afghan woman, and how do they proceed towards marriage? I'm all ears.

They live in caves, who cares. Just bang one on the head and drag her into the hole in the ground.

I actually think there may be something to that.
On a much smaller scale, there was a time when I had some problems with the IRS. I wasn't protesting or getting weird on them, I was just behind and not "in compliance".
Regardless of whether they were male or female, the IRS people who I found myself dealing with seemed to disproportiately be both gay (probably, at least it seemed so), and (definitely) very mean. They had some axe to grind that went well beyond me and my problems.
There was an element of sickness to the bad ones that reminded me of Nazis. They were more interested in hurting people than in getting the various bits of paper shuffled.
That was not true of all of them. A lot, though. Some of them were fine. Many of them seemed nutso.

Naw, they go by the smell. The more they smell like a goat, the more desirable. And they get extra points for the length of hair hanging from their armpits. The more it resembles Chore Girl pot scrubbers, the the higher Omar's tent goes.

I've heard they have big problems with male-on-male rape in Saudi Arabia.

If the woman winks at you, she gets battery acid in the face. If she talks to you without permission, she gets a partial stoning. Any sort of naughty stuff she gets the death penalty. You tell me how they meet women, it's a complete mystery to me. Remember, Islam is a peaceful religion (just not for the women).

Christians from Kerala, India told us that they were in love with each other as teens. However, they could not allow anyone to know it or they would have never been married. They are happily married, have two daughters (one an engineer, one a doctor). I noticed in their native newspaper ads are placed for brides and grooms. Given the rotten state of marriage in America, something must be said for an arranged marriage. I am not promoting it, but there is an unlying assumption of responsibility. Americans marry for love but often divorce before the wedding photos are back from the photographer.

I too have heard that Afghan women are good-looking. But they'll have to be pretty spectacular to outdo Iranians. I've met a few, and those Persian chicks are Da Bomb!I saw on the news last night a clip of an afghan woman who was talking about what life was like in her homeland(she was being interviewed in Pakistan)she told stories of some women having acid thrown in their faces for exposing their faces. She told of how she was forced to quit school by the Taliban. Then she did an amazing thing. While talking about being covered all the time......she seemed to just lash out at the strict Islamic rules and pulled her hood off. She was very attractive and for a brief second she exposed her whole face then quickly covered her face again but only partially. She had very pretty eyes.
What was really striking was the fact that she was rebelling against the Islamic rules and seemed utterly militant in that stance. They have emotions that have evidently been pent up for so long that they cant wait for the moment to break free from the bondage that has been their lot. She was almost to burst into tears.
Did anyone else see this segment on the news?

The gross trade of Afghanistan (not including Usama bin Laden's illicit trade) is about $75 million annually or only a few dollars per Afghani. They produce and export a lot of drugs. Probably billions of dollars a year.
