My mother.....the pimp.

Lets see, a morally decadent baby-boomer unhappy with herself denies reality and escapes into an addictive fantasy world that abuses the innocent, that uses the innocent, all in the name of selfish gratification. Story seems to parallel some elements of 90's America.

Some moms really oughtta stick to soccer.

Is this story about Rosie O'Donnell???

Interesting to see how hard she struggled to make her fantasy reality, even to the smothering of her daughter.

The mother felt like killing herself,Too bad someone didn't loan her a gun.
To: jern
Its one thing for some undersexed slut to prostitute herself on the net, but to pimp her own daughter and get off on HER OWN DAUGHTER'S sexual escapades? Sounds incestuous to me.

Is this story about Rosie O'Donnell???Can't be. The mom was watching her daughter have sex with men.

The whole mother-as-pimp thing is scary, but almost as scary is this line:
The pediatrician pleads guilty to taking indecent liberties with a minor and is placed on probation for two years, ordered to perform 72 hours of community service, fined $500, ordered to pay $111 in court costs and register as a sex offender
No mention of surrenduring his license. The doc's a pediatrician!! He works with kids, including teens. He could be banging his patients!!

Day after day, then nights, too, she escaped into the computer, often for 10 hours, sometimes more. She quit cooking and cleaning and folding laundry. She rarely got out of her pajamas Uh oh...I could be in the beginning phases of something here--

This whole story is just nauseating. Personally, I think the mother should be steam rolled under a slab of granite. How long before the libs start spinning this? You know--the mother the victim, the daughter the actual predator. I mean...what right does she have for flaunting her youth, beauty and slimness...
Cue hand wringing: That poor poor mother... everyone knows that baby boomers (women especially) are never responsible for their actions, particularly when they involve sex and child endangerment. Just look at the Paula Poundstone decision.
We should bring back public flogging.

I kept reading in horror, fully expecting that the daughter wound up being savagely murdered by a pervert.
Thank the Lord that at least THAT didn't happen.
I also thought maybe it was going to be one of those ironic things where the "teenage boy" turned out to be a middle-aged fat slob.
There are no words to describe my thoughts about this piece of human debris who now wears a size 10.

The baby boomers began promiscuous and drug cultures in the sixties and seventies. It has carred over to the present day. It has gotten worse over time. This kind of life style degrades people. They become worse than animals. It affects their minds and souls. We live in a sick society, and it gets sicker with each passing day. Simply read over the posts from people who support the drug culture, and pornographic and promiscuous life styles. We have a lot of airheads in this nation. They and the innocent will suffer for their selfish and hedonistic life style.

At 48 I'm considered, "prime boomer." The whole story would ordinarily be the work of a wanabe psycho novelist. The interpretation is dimensionally worse. As was mentioned a link or two back, through this we get a view of a generation never having to deal with their own wicked dementia. You might say the jury is still out on the latter.

Other than that some people cannot be trusted with sharp scissors, your point is? That you can't believe how people describe themselves on the internet. And that there are some sick puppies out there.

And here I was worried that my mom might be playing Solitaire a little too often.

Excellent point. I can see a high school senior not knowing she was a freshman - but a doctor who was unable to tell he was dealing with a 14 year-old? Come on!
