Hillary Booed at McCartney's Twin Towers Relief Concert

Hillary Booed at McCartney's Twin Towers Relief Concert

New York Senator Hillary Clinton was roundly booed at former Beatle Paul McCartney's Twin Towers relief concert, held at Manhattan's Madison Square Garden Saturday night.

The embarrassing moment came as Sen. Clinton introduced a short video clip from stand-up comic Jerry Seinfeld.

Though the former first lady has tried to capitalize on the Twin Towers tragedy, thrusting herself before one TV camera after another in an effort to connect with average New Yorkers and advance her 2004 presidential ambitions, McCartney's concert showed the effort still needed more work.

One eyewitness to the scene reported to the website FreeRepublic.com that Clinton "was booed so loudly, she had to yell into the mike to be heard."

Another estimated that "90 percent" of the crowd jeered the former first lady.

Her husband, the former president, who was also present, got a much warmer reception.

Old news...but still good for an upchuck or two

Last Thursday, when Hillary attempted to speak at a pro-Israel rally at the United Nations, she was drowned out by a chorus of boos and jeers. Lazio, on the other hand, was cheered by the crowd of 15,000.

There is nothing unusual about Hillary being booed in New York. It happens all the time. When Hillary marched in the Saint Patrick’s Day parade in March, she ran a 45-block gauntlet of boos and catcalls. She was also booed when she marched in the Salute to Israel parade in June.

What was different about last Thursday, though, is that the mass media actually reported the booing. Usually, they pretend it never happened.

When Eva Peron walked among her subjects, she often planted fake supporters in the crowds, who would cheer for the cameras. Hillary uses similar tactics.

My wife and I watched Hillary march in the Columbus Day parade last week, on Fifth Avenue. There were plenty of booers and catcallers, as usual. But, wherever Hillary walked, a mob of about 50 operatives ran, in tight formation, on either side of the street, brandishing “Hillary” signs and screaming their support for the First Lady.

Thus, the photographers and TV crews - if they angled their shots right - could always make it seem as if the First Lady were surrounded by adoring fans.

^____^

OKay! Here is the prelim info for a two CD set coming Nov. this year. Via CNN.com\entertainment.

A telephone number was featured so viewers could phone in donations; all proceeds are going to charities to benefit the victims of New York's terrorist attacks, organizers said. James Dolan, president and CEO of Cablevision, which helped put the concert together, said ticket sales had already raised $14 million.

A two-disc CD set featuring music from the show is expected to be released by Columbia in November with much of the proceeds going to charity.

The concert is one of three all-star concerts this weekend. On Sunday, Michael Jackson, the Backstreet Boys, Mariah Carey, 'N Sync, Aerosmith and others will perform during an eight-hour concert in Washington. CMT will broadcast a 2 1/2-hour live concert from Nashville, Tenn., featuring Tim McGraw, Sara Evans, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson and other country stars Sunday night.

As I was reviewing many sources for info, it seems most online news sources have the same story info. by line by line.... No independent articles of writing about Mz. Hillary's booing! Rats!

Oxford does not have regular classes like US universities. The program is more or less designed around independent study. Clinton is said to have not done well at Oxford because of the lack of structure and his poor study skills. Hitchens claims that Clinton completed no work at all at Oxford and was not permitted to return.

No, but when I looked at the oringinal posting, it only had 44 posts on it.

You know darn well Jim Robinson doesn't like duplicate postings. If you're gonna post something, do a self search before posting it.

That too, but the official reason was that he had not completed any work. In other words, he basicly flunked out.

Remember it was a concert for cops and firemen and maybe they remember this:

Mrs. Bill Clinton over the weekend was in rare form and I am not talking about showing solidarity in the Gay & Lesbian parade in Manhattan but her speech to the Baptist Church. The wife of the impeached president who`s only real achievement on her resume is that she married Bill Clinton has screeched innocent until proven guilty for 8 long years. Mrs. Bill Clinton and her army of lawyers and spokesmen would claim from Watergate to the Travel Office to Monica that they deserved the assumption of innocence if not proven guilty. Apparently that assumption of innocence does not carry over to cops. Unlike her better half who was indicted and found not guilty by a hung jury these cops were found innocent by their peers in a unanimous decision. Not one juror after hearing the evidence thought any of these men were guilty of murder and was a tragic accident. Even in the face of that unanimous finding of innocence and after declaring them guilty of murder before the trial Mrs. Bill Clinton claims that they are still guilty and needs further prosecution. Apparently a cop does not deserve the same rights as her husband in her definition of fairness. When the Monica affair first was reported and was asked by the press if she thought it was true, she said it would all be found out to be another hoax perpetuated by a ``right wing conspiracy.`` As if she did not know her husbands habits and had no suspicion that he was cheating on her for the 100th time?

When things really started heating up Lanny Davis and his gang were outraged that people would ignore the justice system and declare Bill Clinton guilty of perjury and obstruction of justice before he had his day in court. Clinton haters were judges and juries before he had his day in court, fine. Her husband was obviously guilty and still there are those including Mrs. Bill Clinton that say that he was framed and that he paid the obstruction charge because he is a nice guy. Mrs. Bill Clinton is not nearly as magnanimous with 4 cops who made a mistake on a dark night looking for an armed suspect. She never sat through one minute of testimony to hear any of the facts of the case to hear what the jury heard. But then she did not have to because these cops who were doing their job were guilty the minute Al Sharpton said they were guilty. They were guilty when Mrs Bill Clinton and her husband realized there might be a couple thousand votes if the cops were lynched in the media.

These cops who were found innocent must be publicly lynched in hopes of making Mrs. Bill Clinton Senator of NY. Is the press asking any questions about the hypocrisy of her position? Are the Al Sharptons and Charlie Rangles worried about riots in the streets and a long hot summer? Is Hear No Reno worried that these four cops are innocent by her own judicial system. The answer to all of these questions is of course not. The press is just as interested in defeating Rudy and lynching these cops this junta is. Mrs Bill Clinton`s hypocrisy is only matched by the press` and this is just one more example.

These cops had their day in court and now because the verdict was not what Al Sharpton and Mrs. Bill Clinton or her husband wanted they are going to bring in the full force of the InJustice Dept to bear. Hear No is not going to ignore this like the stealing of nuclear secrets because this is far more important. This is framing some innocent cops so that her close friend and wife of Bill Clinton needs to become Senator. This will take center stage and these cops will be pursued until all 4 are hanging from separate Bronx lampposts. Is this a LEFT-WING conspiracy?

God Blessed America

Good information; thanks.

So, Hitlery has her own propaganda corps, en tow, no doubt supplied at taxpayer expense, somehow.

Was he only booed by "50 percent" of the crowd?

Democrats demand a recount! :-)

YES! This needs to be shown over and over---more than the Rotney King video, to get to the answer.

I think you're absolutely right. I can't forget how Bill Clinton was taking a nosedive in the polls and was resurrected by the Oklahoma City bombing. He wishes he and Hillary were in charge now. Thank God for Dubya!

Hillary's only emotion is envy and rage that the attack showed the world that Dubya is a competent forceful leader, in contrast to her malicious carefully crafted media campaign that he is a moron. (How dumb is Bush with a graduate degree from Harvard?)

Her relentless schedule is upset.

6,000 lives? Its all about ME!!!
