Personally, I realized that this World Wide Web thingamajig has other sites on it. Then I realized that I have legs. I then realized that there is a world outside.
Strange world that is. I'm not going back. </ sarcasm>

No heating pad, no long johns - gonna have to fake it with blankets and a warm medium-sized dog until I can find the checkbook ;)

I sold my used Les Paul Standard when I was short on $ at the age of 21 (biggest mistake I ever made - I still have the serial # so I can try to track down the owner when I win the lottery).
Did you know that Nitz Nupress used to sling a Strat in her wild days (I'm not kidding)?
To: Texaggie79
Really? I didn't know that, but it's funny - I've seen "Top Gun Anthem" by Eddie van Halen (on file-sharing networks - shhh) but I always chalked it up to people not knowing what they were talking about ;)

Come on Fred. There was some of that, but there was also banned freepers who came by to tell us why they were banned from FR (potty mouth stuff). Heh heh. I have come to the conclusion that the only people who are permanently banned from FR have no sense of humor and should be banned from the internet entirely and put in a Chinese prison factory where they spend the rest of their lives making cheap shoes that we can buy at Wal-Mart.

Now that sucks! Got hot chocolate?
To: Senator Pardek; Nita Nupress
She slung a Strat??? [.....shakes head.........slowly.......] No sustain. Too "thin"; plinky. No one with real taste plays a Strat. Give me the BALLS of a Gibson with humbuckers. There are a few imitators I'd consider (well.........ahem............like the aforementioned PRS). I WILL take this up with Nita and show her the error of her ways............

There were, like, dirty dishes on the kitchen counter. Some woman I see around my house sometimes made me clean them.

I discovered that Drudge doesn't update his site as often as I'd like. A new story every five seconds would be OK when FR is down.Boy, that's no lie. Many times the husband will yell to me some new bit of news info from the TV. I always say something like..."Yeah, I know. I read that on FR a half hour ago."

I was able to track down, and verify my hunch, that A+Bert is now posting to this forum as "Rave Grrrrl". ROFLOL!!! OK, you win best post!

Well, she's a Stevie Ray psycho, and she knows as much about about pro audio gear as a male does ;)

There were, like, dirty dishes on the kitchen counter. Some woman I see around my house sometimes made me clean them. Some months after my divorce, I discovered a great convenience for a bachelor. I now own only one plate, one glass, one fork, one spoon, and one knife. I rinse them off just before I fix something to eat and drink.

I discovered that I rely on Freerepublic more than I realized to get accurate, current news. I was at work and I panicked for a minute.
