Some months after my divorce, I discovered a great convenience for a bachelor. I now own only one plate, one glass, one fork, one spoon, and one knife. I rinse them off just before I fix something to eat and drink.
Spoken like a man! None o' that washing them off after eating. Wait till you need them. Eminently logical, which I why my wife wouldn't go along with it.
