President Bush arrived in Shanghai today, and was greeted by Chinese President Jiang Zemin. While in Shanghai for the Asian Summit, Bush will meet separately with Russian President Putin regarding the war on terrorism. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Mr. President, You are so cool. I admire you and think that you are great. You make me proud of my country again. I am praying for you.

I haven't seen the TV all day, so hadn't seen any pics of Bush in China. These are great, rintense!
But I MUST say, those pics of Cheney in the tux and tails; OH MY!!! Lynne looks like she might have lost a little weight as well. That dress is lovely with what looks like silver embroidery down the left sleeve; very elegant!

I'm glad you're settling in, I hope it's smooth sailing from now on for ya, :-)
Looks like "W" is the "MAN" here and around the world. George W. Bush and his first 9 month's in office have been nothing but a success story, a man who NOBODY in the press gave him any chance of being successful, a man who was thought to lack leadership skills, a man who would never be respecting by world leaders. BOY!!! WERE THEY WRONG

Agree with you all about picture #1! It is a wow!
I am uncomfortable about Dubya being in China, and of course the media is using this to bash him as usual. I think if I hear how VP Cheney is invisible about one more time........!
Come on, media, you know why he is not hanging around the White House, you use any excuse to cause doubt in the minds of Americans about the administration!
(Just in case any media types are lurking around these parts! LOL)

His speech tonight was great! Started off with appropriate humor ("it's so good to finally be at a disclosed location" ..... LOL!) and then spoke again of the resolve we have ...... that we must and will win this war! He was applauded frequently .... and enthusiastically. Also, Guiliani got a standing ovation ..... #97 got only very lukewarm applause.

Well, RWP, I think you had to stay up a little later tonight to put this together for us. Thank you very much for your thoughtfulness and dedication. W looks rested and the VP pictures are marvelous. Thanks again.

Photos in #14 - Pataki and Guliani look wiped, understandably so.

His statements on terrorism were so powerful. Can't recall them all. I hope they'll post the speech on the net.

#21 - that's the best yet! (I've seen only two but this is dyn-o-mite!)

Great photos as usual! I loved #1 and the ones with the little Chinese girl Wuxiao Qin.
Now if only W can convince Chinese President Jiang Zemin to lose the Charles Nelson Reilly specs... :>)

Cheney did, indeed, give a great speech. However, I must admit, I kept thinking, "jeesch...it sure would be nice to see W in a tux like that!" :-)

I was surprised to hear Brokaw say tonight that the Vice-President, who had not been very visible lately -- with good reason due to security concerns -- visited Ground Zero today.
It was the first time I've heard a newsie admit that the veep has had good reason to be out of harm's way.
