The world is turned upside down. The Saudi terrorism boosters (or worse) shamelessly use our civil rights and hate crimes reporting systems to attack someone who questioned their support for the 9-11 terrorist attacks!

They are here as guests of the United States, revoke their visas and KICK THEM OUT OF OUR COUNTRY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

You know, Ann Coulter has it exactly right. This wave of "Hug an Arab" nonsense since 9/11 has been ridiculous.

The Anchorage Daily News probably spent as many column inches (and more actual reporter's time) on a run-of-the-mill vandalism case involving a local printshop owned by an Arab than they did on the WTC outrage.

Fundamentally, the press in this country is NOT on our side-they are primarily snot-nosed kids who majored in nonsubjects (like "English" or "Political Science") in college, know little about the world, and care less.

But they DO have attitudes. Boy, do they ever!

Send the inconsiderate idiots home. Let them get their schooling there.

First of all this is disgusting. More importantly, why does San Diego keep showing up in connection with terrorists or terrorist sympathizers. That nutty guy in Portland, ME who wants a jihad lived in San Diego, a thread from yesterday said the FBI was checking out a mosque in San Diego and now these obvious sympathizers...

Thank you for posting this. Has anyone sent this to Fox News yet?

Maybe they could interview this student. Sounds like the type of immigrant we should be welcoming with open arms. Someone that stands up for the USA. Instead the university sends him a warning letter.

Kebede should be helped. There's no justifyable reason at all for him to be saddled with a mark like this on his record.

The Arab students need to be disciplined for filing a false report--surely against the law if the officials had the nerve to apply it. The no-doubt liberal administration must believe this bassackwards application of justice is a perfect example of the socialism they hold so dear.

These guys are REALLY good at using our own system against us. They know the game. The liberals are the enablers.

It's a "he said, she said" case. Commonsense may tell us that Mr. Kebede's version rings true, but unless one of the Saudi students corroborates him, he is s*** out of luck.

IMHO, if these students are here on Visas, they are the ones who should be "expelled", in other words deported! Popular or not, this is my opinion, and probably refects the feelings of a lot of citizens of this nation.
It is just appalling to me that they are allowed to speak like this and the guy who questions them is the one in trouble!

This is sick... but not surprising in the least.

Some of the most reasonable people on my campus are students from Africa. Whereas the spoiled American kids take our democracy for granted ("it's run by rich people" "it's run by the evil right-wing media" "it's not really a democracy" etc.), the foreign students know just how valuable it is.

It would be sad to see foreign students from non-Muslim countries expelled.

My letter to Marc Fox:

I read about the Ethiopian student who confronted the two Arab students cheerfully discussing the WTC attack and the deaths of 5000 Americans (public = library, even if they're speaking Arabic), and the patriot who said NO to these idiots is the one you guys criticized? Do you have any clue how crazy that is?

Let's see, it's a hate crime to call someone a Kike, Spic, Wasp, Nigger, Gook, Fag, etc., etc., but it's o.k. to say, on American soil, that you support the mass murder of American citizens?

It's time to grow up. It's time to defend our nation.

This proper lady would have socked both anti-American idiots in the eye as hard as I could, finished them off with a knee to the groin and proudly stood before an American court and an American jury to defend my actions as a citizen who loves this country.

Have a nice day.

"I'm naturalized American. I have taken an oath to live to protect this country, so that is my part to do -- for that I am happy," Kebede said. "I am an honest citizen for this country. I showed those guys that there are people who love America, who defend America. That's what I showed."

Well said and well done. Thank you, Mr. Kebede.

Phil,

You gotta read this. A black American who speaks Arabic was accused of interfering with the rights of Saudi students whom he overheard speaking in Arabic and praising the terrorists who killed 7,000 Americans on 911. He should get a reward, and the students and administrators who charged him should be pitched out on their collective ears, IMHO.

The (More er Less) Honorable Billybob,
cyberCongressman from Western Carolina

Click here and go to "ALCU Watch" for "The Law of War," a detailed legal discussion of how the US declares war, both historically and in this instance.

For a clear discussion of the difference between what the US can constitutionally do in wartime with aliens (but NOT with US citizens of foreign extraction), see my book, Manzanar, published in 1988.

Arab (including Saudi) hatred of America is nothing new. I was in college when the Challenger exploded, and the Saudi engineering students cheered and applauded every time the explosion was repeated on television. I went to the University of Dayton, BTW, which is a Catholic university in the relatively unknown town of Dayton, Ohio.

He should insist that the University police charge him and prosecute him.

If they won't do it, he should go straight back to the Saudi students who were cheering the WTC attack and tell them straight to their faces, in the full presence of witnesses, in Arabic and English, calmy but bluntly, and without equivocation or reservation, that they are gutless cowards freeloading on liberty at the expense of the taxpayers of America and good nature of its citizens.

He should dare them to report him. He should insist that they report him.

And then SDSU's administration should be harassed and jeered in every public forum, continually and loudly, until its officers resign in shame.

This Student should go public with the names of the creeps that were saying this. And the actions of the university should be so publisized as to put them out of business. If it can be proven that these students said what they did then I say get em up against the wall. We don't need national ID cards. What we need is to expell our enemys the hell out of here.

"Muslim Student Association President Omar Behnawa"

"I have no reason to doubt that it happened," Behnawa said about Kebede's experience."

He probably has no doubt that it happened because he understands that this is the prodominate opnion among arabs in this country.

Why is it thay if Americans use our right to free speech and were to say that about them, we'd be bombed, but we let them get away with it. I would keep a close eye on them. If they feel that way now, they could become the next terrorist recruits.
