Here's a direct private FR email I received from Jim: I do not want the article on FR. I don't care who else printed it or what their title was. Not here. Jim
And with that, my days of Freeping are over. I believe that the owner of this forum has the right to have things the way he wants them. No argument comes from me on that one.
However, if I post an article with someone else's title, and specifically state whose title it is, I do not think that the thread should be pulled. I would venture to say that the people of the forum should decide for themselves if a title such as that was appropriate.
But it's not my call.
Take care, fellow conservatives. It's just a bit too touchy-feely around here for this brotha.
What part of the constitution (1st Amendment) do you not understand.
" Congress shall make NO law ... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press ..."
Do you read " No person shall make ANY Rules ... abridging the freedom of speech... "?
Do you see the difference?
One represents totalitarianism, and one secures the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.
FreeRepublic.com is a privately run forum on the WWW, not a union of States.
I should have went farther and said his right to disassociate himself from our peaceful assembly of like-minded conservatives is fully intact.
the folks there love you best, and will laugh a little less when you slink back in.
two or three practice runs like that, then you're ready for a real departure, should the need arise.

I didn't quit after Jim pulled my masterwork implying that George Bush is either the anti-christ or in league with the anti-christ...did I?
But I'm curious about the content.
LOL!!!
Someone once explained to me the "A+" part of the Bert thing. (something about he insisted on getting the "+" back in his nickname after some problem?)
I've seen many references to him, but I don't know much about him....he's a legend here apparently (has he been banned?)
Phooey on that EBP, just pick up PHP. We all know html, and PHP makes server-side development very easy. It is very painless to learn.
I think you will need a meaty SQL server though, and a large pipe to the net.
That makes it a Supo.
"May you live as many years as the number of A+Bert's bannings." -- Traditional FR blessing.
Which one? His fifth was rather long but he summed them all up concisely in subsequent posts. In fact, from opus number seven and on, he just linked back to his original to save bandwidth.
And please, do not be niggardly in your response.
Certainly we all need to understand the acceptable bounds of political correctness as practiced on this board.
