Exactly, marylina, exactly!!!
These peacenik idiots are very happy to enjoy the freedom that was bought for them in blood, but they are so self-absorbed that they are not willing to defend it themselves, and have the unmitigated gall to sit there and criticize those who have courage and patriotism that they are too dumb to even recognize.
Fortunately, there are so few of these feeble minded folks that they are not going to endanger lives as they did during Vietnam. How many American lives were lost in that war because of people who think just like hoyos?? How much longer did that war go on because of the so-called 'peace' movement in America??
President Bush is the one who is fighting for peace, and these bozos are too dumb to see it.
(End of rant).

So who would you prefer to be president of this great country right now and handling this crisis? Algore? Ralph Nader?
I am thrilled with how President Bush has handled this matter! He has given Americans every reason to feel pride in their country. We haven't run for cover and we haven't whined. President Bush has been strong and resolute. He insists that Americans go on with their daily lives instead of living in fear.
God bless President Bush!

Wonderful pics rintense! I didn't get to see the Pentagon service (homeschooling is REALLY cutting into my TV watching time, LOL), and had a meeting during his press conference. I was able to hear the tail end of it on the radio on my way home.
I'm kinda glad I didn't watch the Pentagon thing, I would have just started crying again. I can't listen to "Battle Hymn" or "America the Beautiful" without getting fahklempt these days. I guess it affects Dubya and Laura the same way!

In fact, apparently people foolishly gave their lives in WWII so that 50 years later, I could have a third of my income taken away, be told by some hack spokesman that I need to watch what I say in a time of national freedom, have the NSA "recommend" to networks that they censor Arab news,Ah, you revealed yourself here, you silly boy......... You're not really an American, are you? May I suggest (if you indeed even live in this wonderful country, which gives total fools like you the right to speak) that Kabul is a lovely place for people like you who resent the USA, to move to???
Now GO AWAY!!! You are pathetic!!!!
To: hoyos28
Oops, I suppose you might be a silly girl, not a silly boy.
btw, the so-called "peace movement" was filled with anti-American druggies who went from campus to campus causing trouble and burning buildings. If you think that those losers (does that include you??) shortened the war, you are completely ignorant of the facts.
Then again, you've proven that in all your posts.

I'm all for hunting down and killing Osama bin Laden for the crimes he has committed. I'm not for murdering Afghanis from 20k feet. If you can't understand the difference between justice, and "nuking", then I can't really help you, can I? What a complete idiot. Global terrorist networks cannot exist without state sponsorship. It is not enough to eradicate a single terrorist - we need to make it clear that anyone who harbors or assists terrorists will face the wrath of this country. We are targeting the Taliban because they refuse to turn over bin Laden. And American cannot go hunt down and kill bin Laden until the Taliban is neutralized. You talk big but show an even greater ignorance of military reality in this situation.

rintense, these are beautiful! Couldn't wait for 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time yesterday to see his wonderful press conference. He was masterful!
It's such a hoot to hear all these surprised talking heads at how he's "grown" and how he's "transformed". Baloney! He's always been a great man, it's just that we saw it from the beginning, and they're just finally catching on.

Thanks for the ping Rintense. This is an absolutely wonderful thread. I was able to hear the Memorial Service on Armed Forces Radio. Wish I could have seen it though. These photos are great. I am going to encourage my first graders to work at home to earn a dollar so that we can mail it to the White House as President Bush suggested to help the children of Afghanistan. This is a terrific idea. My students are still talking about September 11th so this is a really positive task for them to do.

If anyone reads this before 9:00 pm ET, turn to C Span and watch the Hispanic Heritage ceremony at the White House today. It was wonderful! The introduction that Al Gonzalez gave our President reveals much about the character of the man who is the leader of the free world!

Thank you for these. The third one of #33 repeated in the fifth of #53 tear me up. There's a mountain of concern for what we have lost in that expression.
