Terrific book...just about scared me to death while reading it. I believe De Mille was writing a sequel. Wonder if it's ever going to be published now.

They came to our country, and connived to murder. Incarcerate & then deport them!

You may be right. Then again, heck, we're only kafir.

These must be the "peaceful", "tolerant" muslims I've heard tell about.

What Dan Rather said just makes me so angry. If it is true, then these people should be deported, yesterday! I know, that won't happen, but it should!

I made this same point (as the article) by logical deduction shortly after the hijackings and was accused of being "alarmist" and "racist." Many in the so-called moderate American Muslim community had to have heard from the perpetrators grossly anti-American rhetoric with at least vague inferences about coming retribution. It is simply a matter of human behavior. These hijackings were a large operation with many players. They were not all disciplined in their behavior, as shown by the last nights of drinks and night clubbing. There is no way the 50 or more of those involved remained isolated with their thoughts on every visit to a mosque, cultural center, night clubs or parties frequented by their American Muslim brethren. Things had to have been said or alluded to which most of us on this forum, if we had heard it, would have reported those remarks to the police or FBI. Why were alarm bells not sounded from somewhere in the mass of 7 million American Muslims? If we refuse to face the answer to that question, we will all find out the hard way in the possibly not so distant future as Muslims become more numerous and powerful here in the U.S.

All those Muslims dancing and laughing in the streets of Paterson, Brooklyn and Chicago were just celebrating their birthdays, which all happened to fall on September 11th.

Please cite your source for this information. I live in the Chicago area and there has been no mention of it here. Credible sources please.

I get my daily bagel from a Bangladeshi. And I vividly recall the day Pakistan detonated their first nuke. My cabbie pulled up next to a taxi driven by a friend, and they laughed and shouted and congratulated themselves over the news.

Arrest, detain, investigate, and deport this scum.

N.J. all gathered on an apartment building's rooftop the morning of the attack and awaited the promised atrocities.

That was in Jersey City in the neighborhood that the '93 bomber came from. I can't confirm the truth of the story but have heard it from many. I live in the next town over and have heard of many celebrations on that day in the Arab/Muslim areas.

It's possible but the attacks happened 15 minutes before the start of the official work day for many of them. I would like to see anyone who was part of this hung out to dry...literally! The same goes for the sympathizers of the terrorists. These people were working to provide shelter for their families, had no inclinations towards violence nor any means of self defense and were killed simply to show us that it could be done. Now, we have a chance to show them what we can do; as a country and as individuals. I know I won't let you guys down and I am confident that I can put my confidence in you.

Also, that a teacher, after hearing a student say such a thing, would not say ANYTHING to anyone.

Well, he didn't say anything about guns, so it was no big deal. If he drew a picture of a gun, pointed his finger like a gun, or mentioned a gun then the teacher would have alerted authorities. Guns are the problem, didn't you know that?

If they're here illegally, there is no reason whatsoever to let them stay now.

I fear that if all they were deported, it would have severe consequences on our national transportation infrastructure. Think about it: WHO WOULD DRIVE THE TAXIS???

Unfortunately, 99% of America could never conceive of the horrific event of September 11th

Gee, I guess less than 1% of the population has read Tom Clancy's "The Sum of All Fears"...

"There are 33 species of snakes in this country. 31 of them are poisonous."

"How do we tell them apart?"

"With a ratio like that you can make a broad and sweeping generalization - Kill them all."

From "Chickenhawk" by Robert Mason, a book on the Vietnam War.

...what if they are legal or US citizens ? put them in barbed wire ?

Works for me, if they knew of these plans and didn't report it.

: WHO WOULD DRIVE THE TAXIS???

It's been reported that New Yorkers are refusing to ride in cabs of drivers with middle eastern names.

No no no.

But I would very much like to see them questioned closely.

I assume the ones who trouble themselves to actually get "legal" are less likely to be the ones involved in destroying our nation.

If the illegal and immigrant Arab-Muslims were deported, Americans would be many times safer, the way they are attacking us requires they be here to do the attacks.
