It's been reported that New Yorkers are refusing to ride in cabs of drivers with middle eastern names.

Middle eastern cabbies now turn their licenses backwards so passengers can't read their names.

They risk fines and loss of those licenses if one of the dreaded taxi inspectors catches them, however.
