I do not know whether this has been posted here through another source or is being pulled in threads or not. But through military sources and a private document I saw with my own eyes 2 names have been listed as the leak to the Washington Post. p> Sen. Orrin Hatch Republican from Utah and Senator Diane Feinstein Democrat from California. If this is pulled I will understand. This source is 100% accurate. I am currently writing a piece on our national security at this current time for one of the papers I write for. This is bound to come out soon. So I figured I would post this here first.

Time to pull their security clearances, so they cannot serve on
any Intelligence Committee.
Besides, if DiFi knows, you can bet Hillary does.

I agree with your hard time comment. It's simply unacceptable for these people to pass information without having to pay the penalty.

I still can't find out what was leaked. Was it leaked and not reported is that why?
everyone is up in arms about a leak that, as far as I can tell, nobody knows what the heck was leaked.
Any info would be helpfull.

When Feinstein was mayor of San Francisco she blabbed to the media confidential info on the 'night stalker', alerting him just as the police were closing in.
Something about a distinctive pattern on his sneakers.

Perhaps you can explain what area of our national defense is compromised by revealing this information regarding Hatch and Feinstein.

I wish I knew WHAT was leaked (if, of course it doesn't violate LLSS)...

I was not made aware of WHAT exactly was leaked. Just who leaked it out.

I'd like some clarification.
It is already known that in the first week after the attack that Sen Hatch was 'invited' to the WH for a 'discussion' regarding his disclosures in a TV interview.
It was my understanding that the most recent leak was a single source, and that Feinstein was the likely culprit, due in no small part to her immediate grandstanding about the right of the people's representatives to know what is going on.
Did Hatch make further disclosures beyond his initial mistake? If so, he needs a trip to the woodshed. Somehow I don;t see Orrin talking to the post, however. On the other hand, it has been rumored that Feinstein has a private table in their corporate dining room.

100% bi-partisanship!

Seems the heads of both parties are trying to come up with a plan of damage control as we speak. This is a fantastic opportunity for the Republicans to show that they, unlike the Democrats (Condit) can and will discipline their own.
(Not that I believe they have in the past, but hey...no time like the present to start. It's a new day and all that.)

What I heard was someone high up in the Bush Admin. was able to talk the WASHCOMPOST out of writing about the some real senstive stuff.....what we saw in last Friday's Post was after W's team.....stopped the more damaging stuff..

as I said yesterday feinstein came on tv and said something about info being inadvertently leaked, the video showed her repeatedly putting her hand over her mouth and IMO looking guilty...how can you "inadvertantly release clasified material? wish I had a copy of her remarks.. regards.....

I still can't find out what was leaked. Was it leaked and not reported is that why? It must have been a real doozy because the White House asked the Washington Post not to print it when their reporter called about it. The Post reporter, at least, had a conscience.

My part is done. I wrote what I needed to. It is up to the editor to use it or not. Basically my work is done and I have gotten good word that the NY Post is ready to drop some damage on D.C. talking heads over this. So as a member of FreeRepublic since the early days of Lewinski...when the bread is buttered and I know for sure of a story and it has not come out anywhere else...I give FreeRepublic the credit for the breaking news.

What is the significance of the leaked material. I refuse to get all worked up about a leak that nobody can tell me if it was important or classified or would have gotten servicemembers killed or impeded an investigation.
I heard this story yesterday and all anyone can say is "somebody leaked to the W.P. and I wonder who it was." and as of now "somebody leaked to the W.P. and it was Feinstein and Hatch".

I still can't find out what was leaked. Was it leaked and not reported is that why? Apparently some was leaked and published by the Washington Post - for instance the fact that there was a 100% probablity of another terriorist incident in the U.S..
Apparently some was leaked and NOT published by the Washington Post. The Post called the White House, either to get confirmation or to warn the White House. The White House prevailed on the Post to NOT publish.
