This article pretty much says it all:
After years of watching terrorists elude justice, it is grand to see a president willing to fight back. Since Sept. 11, we have watched Mr. Bush grow in stature day by day, a man who knows his destiny. If he is successful in the war against terrorism, Mr. Bush will actually be leaving a real, historic legacy when he departs the White House.
Ordinary Americans, however, polled about their president's decision have been overwhelmingly supportive. They may know something the pundits forget that we would have been in an almighty pickle had Bill Clinton or Al Gore been in the White House during this crisis.
For one thing, President Clinton did have a defining moment it was called impeachment.
The truth hurts don't it?!

This might explain why Klintoon is on the airwaves every other day splainin' hisself. What a sorry excuse for a President. Kinda makes Jimmy Carter look good.

...when the terrorists attacked the World Trade Center in 1993, failing to bring it down, Mr. Clinton warned against "overreacting" and lamented the fact that "somebody did something very stupid" (in an interview with MTV). Following the Khobar Towers bombing in 1996, which cost 16 U.S. servicemen their lives, Mr. Clinton did nothing. When U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Nairobi were attacked in 1998, killing 263 persons, Mr. Clinton launched an ineffective missile raid on Afghanistan, hitting empty terrorist camps, a response which his own advisers now publicly acknowledge was totally inadequate.Glad to see a national newspaper, albeit a conservative one, finally bring this to the forefront. Now here's hoping the Sunday talk shows start repeating it, the cable news networks focus on Clinton's dismal failure, and finally, the REPUBLICAN PARTY grow a pair of b***s and point out the truth: the leadership of the Democratic Party is self-centered, anti-Constitutional and weak.

Impeachment was Clinton's defining moment and the MOST MEMORABLE words uttered during his presidency were, "I did NOT have sexual relations with that woman....Miss Lewinsky."

Coalition building/nation building ... I fail to see the dif. You just watch how fast all this coalition building devolves into nation building ASAP. Hells Bells ... if your gonna nation build do it the old fashion way. There MUST be some old CIA guys around that still know how it's done.
Write your congress critters. Demand that all non citizen Muslims be deported NOW. This will make the FBI's job easier in watching the remaining ones. They (the 'citizen' Moslems) may have to go too however.
If my 'culturist' sentiments bother you .... ask yourself this: "Was that fat lady leafing through the Natl. Enquirer in the line in front of me today sending anthrax spoors into the air around me?"

I thought it was
"That depends on what the meaning of is, is"
Doesn't matter he is finally dead meat for the history books. Did you happen to hear all the reports yesterday from the Clinton gang. "The Clinton administration stopped 15 terrorists attacks". LMAO They are desperate to uphold him. and it just isn't working!

Mr. Bush reportedly rejected out of hand the set of initial military plans presented to him by the Joint Chiefs of Staff for more limited cruise missile attacks on half a dozen terrorist camps in Afghanistan. These were plans drawn up by the Clinton administration. Laughably, the code name was "Infinite Resolve." Hmm. This is a VERY different reason for changing the name of the operation than the one given us by the ever-lying news media. No doubt it was hatched up by that all-star team of idiots and war criminals, clinton, albright, cohen, and shelton (still regretably in office).
No wonder Bush ordered a name change.

The Times forgets Somalia. Not only did Clinton forbid the use of back-up hardware for our guys, but as soon as the bodies of our servicemen were dragged thru the streets by representitives of the religion of peace and harmony, Clinton put our tail firmly between his (already crowded) legs and forced us to run for the hills.
Bin Laden actually mentioned Somalia when making his case for Americans as cowards. That gives Clinton's Somalia retreat a direct link to September 11th.

"
How would a Bill Clinton or an Al Gore have reacted? We can attempt to answer this question because Mr. Clinton was faced with several terrorist attacks during his presidency, to which his response was so lame that the terrorists were obviously emboldened. ... Would a President Gore have been more effectual? Hardly. There was no sign of daylight between him and his boss on any of these issues during Mr. Gore's eight years as Mr. Clinton's trusty right hand. ."
The DemocRAT party is the party of the emasculators [cynical opportunists and air-head females) and the emasculated (feminized males). Their quintessential poster boys were clinton/gore.
The DemocRAT party BASE has been busily weakening America for the better part of 60 years. It is no accident that we eventually became vulnerable to attack.

I agree that Clinton was clueless on the terrorism threat. But let's not forget that Ronald Reagan's response to the terrorist attacks/hostage taking in the '80s was pretty limp-wristed, as well.

Besides Clinton's half-hour on the steps of the National Cathedral on Sept. 14, don't forget his hour-long farewell to his supporters on Inauguration Day, January 20, also covered by the media (why?), which forced the other planned events of the day to be held up until Clinton finished.

"By now, Osama bin Laden, the Taliban and their friends will have realized they picked a fight with a very different kind of man. Good for us." you got that right is not the same!
