"More than two weeks ago, I gave Taliban leaders a series of clear and specific demands: Close terrorist training camps. Hand over leaders of the al Qaeda network, and return all foreign nationals, including American citizens unjustly detained in our country."Thanks for posting this, JH. Very good. One question: where it says, "...our country." Is that a typo? Do you know if he said "our" or "your?"

Thanks for posting this. I didn't hear it live. It brings tears to my eyes. May God bless that precious 4th grade girl and keep her dad safe.

Today we focus on Afghanistan, but the battle is broader. Every nation has a choice to make. In this conflict, there is no neutral ground. If any government sponsors the outlaws and killers of innocence, they have become outlaws and murderers themselves. And they will take that lonely path at their own peril. Another great speech today, and this was my favorite part...

President Bush did not mention OBL by name, which seems to indicate that the linkage between the Taliban government and OBL has been made "official". Does anyone think this is as significant as I do?

What a smart move to do this from the treaty room. Look behind President Bush, you can see foot and car traffic traveling around in the background. We are not afraid. The President is not hunkered down. It is an extreme display of confidence
Don't stop rolling until our enemies are defeated.

Thank you Mr. President and indeed, may God continue to bless America!

Yes, God Bless President Bush and this nation.
What does everyone think of the dropping of "food, medicine and supplies"? I don't know enough about this. It is noble and gracious.
But will it have the negative effect of enabling the Taliban to resist longer? I hope not.
