Thanks for flagging me over to the Sig forum. I'm now STRONGLY considering trading my Beretta for a P220

You're very welcome.

I don't have a P220 (at least not yet). The only disadvantage in my mind is that it only holds 8+1 rounds. The 220 Sport model seems to be very popular over there, although it is pretty expensive.

I do wish that Sig would make a large capacity, double-stack 45. Rumor has it that they designed a prototype, the P221, that holds 14 rounds. Maybe they didn't go forward with it because of the stupid ban on mags holding more than 10 rounds, and they figured that people wouldn't pay $$$ to get a 2 round improvement over the 220.
