Our youngest son has a friend (girl) who is from Canada. She just told us how crazy Hab country is over this, she visited this past weekend. They are flying American flags, talking about how much they support us, this has not happened to this degree in our lifetime (cept when USA beat USSR in hockey!).

What a horror of a mess that woman is, Chris. How could she have been this countrys first lady for eight years. How did we survive them?

I am so proud of President Bush. What a wonderful man we have to lead us. The world is going to see what we fought for in the election. I couldn't be any prouder than I am tonight.

Well, I'm proud to be an American - and to have supported G W Bush. He is in communion with God to know what had to be said and done up until this time, despite the advice from die-hard conservatives (like myself) to stop being nice to the democrats because they will never support him anyway. The new tone worked.... even though no one foresaw the events of Sept 11 -- except God. What men have intended for evil, God uses for good.
Think how small and foolish all the congressmen who refused to show up for President Bush's luncheon earlier this year feel now.

I am encouraged to have more faith.

Palo, Still being a Hippie helps all of us keep things in perspective. Cats are cool. The misses is allergic to them, so no cougars. We have a 100 lb golden/lab mix in the house....Luke (named after Paul Newman in 'Cool Hand Luke') keeps my feet warm in the winter. The toddlers across the street love him to death....Luke doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He's my buddy, buddy. Have given 1.7 gals of my red stuff up to a few years ago. Gave my arm a rest. Will give more if the call goes out again. Palo, at least there are those who care. Big Hug :>))

SO9, best speech GWB has delivered in his political career. The Sh$t's gonna get deep. Both the Senate majority leader and minority leader responded together and that hasn't happened in my lifetime. The political analysts on FOX are stuttering and trying to stay focused. Their eyes aren't lieing.

Prentice, I agree. There is no misunderstanding what he said, everyone around the world knows exactly what he expects of them. They are either with us or they are against us. I'll bet that made the Taliban want to head for the hills.

Laura Bush looked stricken - a look of total compassionate anguish for her country and proud support of her husband. She's a genuine woman who has helped make GW the man he is today. I hope her burden is lifted some after his triumphant speech tonight. I expect an attack on Afghanistan will happen before the weekend is over from, I get this from her expression.

He sure is.I have always despised him. A classic 60's campus marxist, but I don't think he will live to take office, even if he wins. If he continues to deteriorate at the present rate, he will be dead in 6 months.
