Today, President Bush continued his strong message of justice and retaliation, warning that the "Taliban must take my statement seriously." First Lady Laura Bush also joined a nation in mourning as she attended a memorial service for the victims of United Airlines Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.

With word that talks between Taliban and the Pakistan gov't reportedly failed, the focus now becomes whether the Islamic Clerics will turn over bin Laden. And as the uncertainty continues, preparations also continue for Operation Noble Eagle. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

I have been thinking lately about those horrid political cartoons that showed W as a puppet on Cheney's lap, and marvelling at how obvious it is as to WHO is in charge here. I love VP Cheney, but George W. Bush is making the calls and everyone in the whole world now knows it.

Think the press will ever admit they were wrong about him?? NOT!!!!!!!!!
That would take dignity, honesty and courage; characteristics which they clearly don't possess.

I can't help but notice how well rested and peaceful the President and First Lady look considering the circumstances, and I just wanted to share this post that was on the Pray for President Bush thread today.

I hope Reagan Cowboy doesn't mind, but it moved me to tears and I thought it would give everyone insight into the soul of this man.

I shook hands with the President today, and asked him how we can pray for him. He said:

"Keep doing what you're doing, it's working... Pray for my little girls."

Please do so now.
