They should drop pictures of Wonder Woman over Afghanistan. That will make most of the men give up on the Taliban.

Those guys are afraid they will get turned on it they see the elbow of somebody's fat grandmother. Photos of Linda Carter in a wet swimsuit would probably cause all of them to "stroke-out" (no pun intended. HONEST!),and could save us from having to fight them.

I think this whole Taliban thing is mostly one big fraud. I doubt that even most of the Taliban leaders believe in that stuff. Why? Because of the news accounts I've read about the terrorists. Shortly before they hijacked the planes they celebrated by getting drunk at strip clubs and having lap dances performed on them. Sure doesn't sound like they were following the rules of the Taliban. And remember these were the hard core followers of Osama Bin Laden.

Jimmy Swaggart,Jim Baker,generations of Priests in Russia informing on their followers to the KGB,the Vatican selling diplomatic passports to escaping Nazi's,The Crusades,Pat Robertson getting caught using his donor's money to buy a DC-10 for his gold mine in South Africa,etc,etc,etc. I know most people here won't agree with me,but religion is mostly a scam operated by it's leaders for wealth and power,and supported by followers who enjoy the thought that everybody but them will burn in hell forever.

As a banker down in Miami (albeit, one who entered the local financial sector after BCCI), I am quite familiar with this scandal (FYI: BCCI had one of its largest locations near the Miami financial district on Brickell). I remember seeing Linda Carter talking about her husband's involvement on Lifetime (go ahead and mock me. I frequently stop on Lifetime or El Show de Cristina when channell surfing). Damn, I loved Wonder Woman when I was a kid.

Yeah...yeah...yeah! Many thousands of people in this Country know the details.
THE BIGGER QUESTION IS WHETHER ANYONE IN A POSITION TO DO SO WILL EVER BRING THEM TO ACCOUNT!!!

Actually, I was listening and she said she felt that hubby was rail-roaded, that she will always love him, etc.

Somehow I don't think Wonder Woman is an expert in the intricacies of International Banking. I doubt she even heard most of what was said during the BCCI hearings. I just wish she would pose nude on a Web paysite and use the money raised to donate to the Red Cross. That should bring in hundreds of thousands. Plus I know she has to look better than those nude shots of Dr. Laura.

Do you know that you cannot say "mad cow" without tempting us to tell the PMS joke.

I think you're painting with too broad a brush. There is an underlying truth, though: when any type of organization, including a religious sect, grows to a certain point it attracts leaders who care about the perks and power rather than the original ideals.
It is His Disciple
(Ere Those Bones are dust )
Who shall change the Charter,
Who shall split the Trust--
Amplify distinctions,
Rationalize the Claim;
Preaching that the Master
Would have done the same.
