Utterly Ungracious Attitude & Behavior of Hillary Clinton During This Time

Has anyone else noticed Hitlery's behavior the past 2 or 3 days? I've been forced to watch her, since she's been on the news everywhere. This woman, who embraced and kissed Yasser Arafat's wife, has shown her true anti-American colors in these ways:
1. Hillary has made NO strong public (or even a private) statement condemning the celebratory behavior of the Palestinians. Hillary publicly embraces their leaders, and is silent when their people cheer the deaths of her constituents.
2. Hitlery has avoided blatant public support for the President--something no other politician has done. She is relatively silent on the subject, when the consensus even among fellow liberals is to stand with enthusiasm behind the Commander in Chief.
3. Hitlery, in her statement following the Senate vote for $40 Billion in relief funds, gave credit to a great number of people, and as almost an afterthought, mentioned that the President agreed to what was requested. The statement she made was an attempt to make Mr. Bush look like he had to be PERSUADED to increase help...nothing could be further from the truth.
4. Hitlery did not accompany Mr. Bush to the site of destruction in New York. Indeed, even the ultra-liberal Charles Schumer stood beside the President during this visit. Perhaps the former First Lady didn't want to be in the shadow of a President and her Senior Senator.
5. Hitlery has avoided referring to Mr. Bush as the nation's leader. Again in comparison with the senior Senator Schumer, himself no friend of G.W. Bush, she's been missing in action. Mr. Schumer said in his address to the Senate on September 12 that partisanship was not acceptable on this issue--that the President was the leader, and that Americans were the followers. Hillary seems to purposely avoid endorsing that point.

FYI, Mrs. OKSooner just said something about plastic surgery and made a "derisive" gesture at #39...

Oops! Sorry about that, still learning. Back to HTML Bootcamp for me! I think I just made the mistake on another thread. Won't happen again. Thank you for taking the time to point it out to me.

No problem.
Changing the subject;
Does anybody know if there is a roll call thread for those from NYC. I'm not seeing a friend that posts fairly regularly and I can't seem to make the search thingy work to find him :(

You summed it up pretty well. To his credit, Schumer has been excellent and nonpartisan during this time. I just heard him giving a phone interview to a local news station where he profusely praised Bush. Both the New York tabloids posted Schumer's very moving Senate floor speech on the matter. I notice that they didn't do the same with Hillary -- probably because she had nothing to say other than self-aggrandizement.

I watched it and you have nailed Hillary! She was out of her tree today.

I think we ought to put huge billboards up of Hitlery kissing and pandering to the Palestinians with a caption underneath, one of her pro-Palestinian quotes or something like "Thanks for the memories."

I stand by the rest of my points, though. She is a self-worshiping pol who has only her own aggrandizement in mind...I don't disagree, but I'm going to wax very, very corny right here.
This is the time to lay politics aside. This is the time to come together against a common foe. There will be PLENTY of time soon enough to resume the tiresome bickering with our political foes.
For right now, I say "thank you, Sen. Clinton, for your support of your country and its President in this dark hour of our nation's history."
It is time to be gracious. That is how I intend to strive to be during this period, and that period may be long.

Hillary was there with our President in NY, but as someone else said, she walked away from him. Another reason for her mood today is that she had to share the spotlight with Slick. She despises him because of the humiliation he brought her, and she's worried about him getting caught with another girl.

There she is. The face of loving Christian kindness.

Did you see her during the prayer service? If looks could kill, Bush would be dead.
