Marty Meehan isn't the only one. I was listening to Ken Hamblin yesterday
and he was ranting and raving saying there is no way
in he** the terroists were targeting Air Force One.
I quit listening to Ken Hamblin quite some time ago. I don't know why I was listening
yesterday except just curious to hear what he had to say.
Mike: Congressman Neal's Office.
Boss: I wanted to know if the Congressman was happy with the manner in which President Bush delivered his address today at the National Cathedral?
Mike: I'm not sure...I haven't heard him say anything about it.
Boss: Will he be issuing an apology for his previous critical remarks on Bush's delivery.
Mike: He has issued a statement saying he stands behind the president, etc., etc. and he has just been on the floor saying the same thing. Would you like me to read it to you?
Boss: No, I have seen it on his website but he does not address the earlier comments attributed to him.
Mike: Those comments were inaccurate.
Boss: Could you please provide me with the accurate comments.
Mike: My understanding is that this was from a walking interview and he doesn't have anything written down.
Boss: Could the Congressman then issue a statement regarding this? What I am reading in the Boston Herald is very disturbing. I have heard many say his remarks are those of a traitor.
Mike: What can I do to clarify this? Do you have a fax number or phone number where I can send you something or call you back?
Boss: Yes, my phone number is ...
Mike: And what is your name? My name is Mike by the way.
Boss: My name is ... and thank you very much Mike.
He was very polite. We'll see if he calls back.
