Disney owns ABC; ABC is broadcasting Jennings' venom. Ask them to tell their Bush-hater to put a sock in it. ---------------- CALL YOUR LOCAL ABC AFFILIATE, TOO( I tripped on my first post and said "Clinton hater Jennings"; actually, he loves Bubba - - it's Bush he hates.

They have at least 1 American's opinion on the matter. This is a time of American crisis. The last thing we need is an 'unbiased' journalist using his position and this catestrophy to erode our committment by attacking our Commander in Chief. Maybe ABC should re-assign Jennings to covering Afghanistan for the next couple of months.

Called the number and asked if they didn't think we had sufferred enough that they had to inflict that hateful Jennings on us too. The woman was most annoyed with me and quite rude.....said she had no control over it but did pass me on to a voicemail to Levin.........I left him a message highlighting his shame in allowing Jennings on the air.

I just called.
I told a frazzled man who answered the phone that not only will I never buy another disney product, nor watch any ABC affiliate, but I would also encourage every person I knew for the rest of my life to do the same. In addition, I told him I would make it my dying effort to write letters to all of ABC's advertisers telling them I will never buy their products if I see them advertised on ABC. I then told him, I just want you to pass my thought along to your superiors, and tell them this is because of what I heard Peter Jennings say about our President.
He very respectfully "yes sirred" me the whole way...I don't think my call was the first, obviously, and I hope it isn't the last.
But if you call, remember: NO CUSS WORDS.

I have them on the phone right now. They put me on hold. Now I am instructed to leave a 30 second message.......... I have told ABC that Jennings is irredeemable and is a biased left-wing sycophant for left wing proppganda. His attacks on my President offend me and millions of other Americans. I will never watch ABC nor patronize Disney as long as Jennings is your employee. Please sent me a written acknowledgement of this message.
Please, everyone, call them.--and tell them something that I forgot to---"It's Fox News from now on, baby!"

Jennings = *PROPAGANDA* bumps to all.

I called my local ABC affiliate yesterday and politely told the news director that Peter Jennings is a sniveling punk, and suggested that they run local news instead of him.

What did Jennings say? I do not and will not watch him (Especially since I get Fox). Please quote him so I can understand exactly what I am opposing (not to mention motivate me to call). Thank you fellow freepers!

Jennings has rarely been more blatant in displaying his bias than during these last few days. His interview with that vile creature, the female Palestinian representative, who all but said America deserved this, so infuriated me I almost threw my phone into the TV.
Not only call (which I did) but send letters to Disney executives. Enormous piles of letters are every bit as effective as calls, even more so since they take up physical space.

With any luck Canada won't want the SOB back. I'm sure the Palestinians would welcome him, though.

Rush has been talking about this.
Jennings implied that Bush was a coward by his comment that it was taking Bush a long time to address the people and seemed to be hiding. He also said that some Presidents were very good at reassuring the American people and giving them confidence, and that some were not--clearly suggesting Bush was among the latter.

Called.
Call (818) 460-7477 to go directly to the comment line recorder.
In 10 minutes (after 1:00 p.m. Pacific), the operator said that I should get a live person at that number.

...when the recording starts, press "4" to get to the recording. Speak fast... the "30 seconds" they give you is less than that.
To: San Jacinto
Thank you. I am calling right now!

I didn't catch his anti-Bush statements, since I turned the station after his insensitive remarks about the crumbling WTC. While showing footage of the second tower falling, Jennings tactlessly said it looked like a "peeling banana." Then he said, "Oh, but there's people in there." It made me sick.

This morning, just before Bush spoke to the NY mayor and gov., Jennings said many people consider Bush an "illegitimate" president.

Call made. I also e-mailed them yesterday.

Jennings is a foreigner. His venom against the President is undermining our war effort, creating additional danger to the President during the crisis. He should be deported.

I was channel-surfing on our national 911 day.
Fox was not coming in clear on the TV I was using, so I was having to hit CBS, NBC, ABC.
I heard Mr. Jenning make a remark with a disgusted tone that they had to break away from some "Political" commentary.
It was Karen Hughes, Communications Director of the White House providing a strong summary of the various actions of Executive Branches.
She provided in a concise manner, without bias or emotion, answers for some of my questions.
Mr. Jennings, having labeled her as some political hack, tried to discount the importance of our hearing from her, without his ability to spin the truth.
We know Karen Hughes to be a Truth-Teller. I would much rather have any of the Truth-Tellers of the Bush Administration answering questions then some biased talking head who is more concerned about his political slant getting into the act.
To: Dustoff45
Incredible. Jennings has been sitting their talking to ABC "correspondent" Stephanopoulos - - a Clinton political hack - - giving this hack all kinds of deference - - - - but he sniffs at Karen Hughes as a "political operative." I believe her title is Communications Director. Why should a communications director be communicating on behalf of the administration?
