Bill Clinton Guarded in Australia
BRISBANE, Australia (AP) -
Former President Clinton (news - web sites) was under guard in an Australian resort Wednesday, awaiting a chance to return home following the deadly terrorist attacks in the United States.
Former Vice President Al Gore (news - web sites), meanwhile, was stranded in Austria as many airlines canceled flights to the United States and U.S. airports remained closed Wednesday morning.
Clinton had been taking a break in Port Douglas, Queensland state, after recent speaking engagements in Sydney and Melbourne. He arrived in the northeastern resort town Tuesday morning and spent the day snorkeling and speaking with locals.
But he was kept out of sight Wednesday as the hotel turned media away and police threw a security cordon around him.
Clinton had been scheduled to travel to Taiwan on Wednesday but postponed his trip.
``He'll obviously want to return to the U.S. as soon as possible,'' Queensland Premier Peter Beattie said.
Gore was in Vienna, where he had been scheduled to speak to the Internet Service Providers Austria on the future of the Internet.
He decided instead to return home to his family. ``We are trying hard so he can get back to the United States as soon as possible,'' said Monika Langthaler, head of Internet Service Providers Austria.
In a written statement to the Austria Press Agency, Gore condemned the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington as ``an unspeakably evil act.''
Langthaler would not say how Gore would travel back to the United States. He was kept away from Austrian media.

I'm somewhat torn here in my reaction:
On the one hand I'm thinking "come back and see the results of you and your witch's LEGACY" and on the other hand ...
I'm thinking " stay away you piece of human filth and take your witch with you"!!

Attention Australia: keep the b*stard, compliment of our special relationship. The last thing we need right now is that piece of garbage to posture in New York City. It's bad enough for Giuliani to have to waste time with Schumer and the Clinton woman when he has so many incredible responsibilities. Playing host to this scumbag would be an insult to the victims.

Not too far below that thin, lip biting veneer is a laughing, America-hating, commie, piece of s***.

"Isn't it strange they are both out of the country??? Perhaps thier friends gave a signal." The first thing I said to my husband is, "Isn't it a little strange that both Clinton & Gore were out of the country when this happened? Makes you wonder if they weren't notified to get out ahead of time. Tin-foil hat off".
He just looked at me very strangely and never did ask about the whole tin-foil hat thing!

If Al were president, he would order an immediate investigation into the excessive smoke and asbestos pollutants released from the WTC; lawyers would immediately file class-action lawsuits against the designers, contractors and the Port Authority for shoddy construction and for violations of the ADA (there was no way for handicapped people to easily escape the building once power had failed).
To: TLBSHOW
Who in the hell would waste a minute trying to do anything to these pieces of garbage?
