Just a thought. That ragtag group of anti-American and anti-capitalists democracy haters that have been protesting all the WTO meetings world wide have been silent. I thinks their protests helped to embolden Bin Laden and others into thinking that there is support for them here and around the world. Nuts like the Unabomber, who had Al Gore's book, Earth In The Balance, dogeared, were railing against the government and free markets. Don't they all share responsibility of accepting and placating these people?

That includes Earth First, the Sierra Club, The ACLU, et.al. I hope they slept well last night, knowing that they aid and abet our enemies.

As for me, my brother, who worked on the 100th floor of tower 1 was 10 minutes late yesterday because he went to Mass down the street. He was walking in the front door when the first plane hit. I didn't find out he was OK until about 3 PM.

In case you haven't noticed, there is a very large difference between waving a placard and plunging an airliner into a building. I do not think that Bin Laden or the responsible parties got inspiration to commit such a tragedy from reading a protest sign while touring the World Trade Center. Now is the time to stop back-biting and pull together.

A communist would rather see people dead rather than rich. That said, it is ironic that the Wall Streeters the like of Boeing's Phil COndit refuse to pledge allegiance to the flag in their money "making" hallways, and then get wacked like that by weapon making muslims and communists.

I would hope that America wakes up and realize that capitalizing in weapons and in G_d is much more important than capitalizing in NY money and Pentagon bureaucrats.

FYI: It was the WTC, not the WTO, that was bombed yesterday.

Abdicating our sovereign trade decision making rights to a world body is unconstituional.  That decision making process is required to remain with the Congress of the United States.  The WTO is a globalist agency that is not representative in nature.  We can't vote on their membership.  They answer to nobody.

Either you believe in a representative form of government or you don't.  Evidently you don't.  Please, don't come here and dump on people who do.

Are you really this stupid? Do you really believe that world trade is the answer to these problems? How about understanding that forced trade has been the cause of much anger in these countries? The WTO angers many as it sticks its nose into other countries' business.
