The vanity police will probably nike this post too. They've been pounding on the "delete" button all day.

Thanks, D1. This is still settling in for me - I can only guess as to how many of the dead I know.

I would suspect that many of us are going to know people who died. I am sorry to hear that you may have known a number of them.

The shocking portion of this video for me, was that the plane just entered the building as pretty as you please. Then for a split second the entry point was very near smooth. Then whoof as the explosion and debrite exit occured. This is an absolutely sureal video.

FOX News's Shepard Smith said that they have far more footage than they are showing us, but that the carnage in the scenes is so horrific that they have chosen to limit what they show. Just as well. What they are showing has already sickened and angered me beyond belief. The feeling of powerlessness is overwhelming. I want to immediately and totally wreak vengence on something or someone and it just isn't possible. We don't even know for certain yet who the culprits are.

We know which communities were cheering today. I would suggest that we make it a national project to see to it that in ten years all those regions are wasteland. I am told you can go to where Carthage was and nothing will grow there to this day. The Romans knew how to deal with this kind of thing.
