Today, I am not a Keyes supporter. I am a Bush Supporter. We all should be Bush supporters today and on this issue.

Nor am I a Republican, a Democrat, or an Independent today, but only an American.

I am sick and tired...

I am sick and tired of our country playing nice.

I am sick and tired of our country being played as fools.

I am sick and tired of our country being used as negotiators in peace treaties that ultimately make us targets.

I am sick and tired of the perception the our country is weak.

I am sick for all the families and loved ones who have suffered today.

I am sick for all the Americans who have watched this frame by frame, moment-by-moment on television.

Yet, I know this country will unite behind this attack.

I know that all Americans will not tolerate this kind of treachery.

I know that all Americans will want justice.

And I know that President Bush will do the right thing.

Like all other FReepers, today, my emotions have run the gamut from sadness, to anger, to such inspired patriotism, that I only hope the thugs and cowards that did this will realize that we may be down, but we ain't out.

My dad just said "well, I think we've probably heard the last of "Gore's LOCK BOX", who's gonna fight Bush now about Mis. Defense, or about using Soc. Sec. to give more money to our military. We may disagree profoundly on many issues on this forum, but we are here because we love this country. We definately need to stand together, resolute against whoever perpetrated this act.

Rumors are that Osama Bin Laden is responsible, and I think therefore the Taliban would be responsible. I think this would justify removeing the most oppresive and murderous Taliban from the face of the earth. But whoever is responsible will learn that they made a grievous mistake.

I pray for those who hurt today.
