They look like me. By lurking, I got to know all of the people way before they knew me. It helped me to get the courage to jump in, and sign up. The more I lurked, the more I learned to love this place. I still lurk occasionally, I guess some things never change.

I was a lurker for more than a year before I got around to joining, mostly just to understand the rules and because the discussions were so great. I suppose lurkers are just like posters, only shy, modest, and perhaps afraid of speling or html < i > mistakes.
