Hakeem Jeffries Says Impeachment and Getting Even Aren’t Priorities

After Democrats’ historic victory, why is this how Hakeem Jeffries is responding?
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries isn’t interested in seeking impeachment charges against President Donald Trump.
Speaking on MS NOW’s Morning Joe Wednesday, Jeffries laid out his priorities for his party’s newfound leadership in the House of Representatives.
“The American people don’t want us to get even. They want us to get things done on their behalf because life is way too expensive,” Jeffries said.

Ahead of the election results, Jeffries similarly made clear that impeaching Trump was simply not a priority.
“I’ve made clear from the very beginning that our top priority is going to be to drive down the high cost of living,” the House minority leader said on Fox News Sunday.
While it’s clear that Democrats have more than their fair share of damage to undo, it’s not clear why they’d need to draw the line at impeaching the most corrupt president in American history. While we’re at it, why not pick off his Cabinet of cronies one by one?
If anything, voters have delivered a clear mandate against Trump’s entire reign of corruption. After two years of Republican control in Congress, and Trump’s disastrous leadership, voters don’t just want to get even—they want everything.

Oddly, I hope the New Republic gets their way. Might as well tear off the bandaid.

Jeffries may mean it—but the firebrands in his own party will never let him get away with implementing his claimed vision.
Imho he is not strong enough to stand up to them.

It would be a *gift* to move beyond Trump two years early.
He’s been a disaster to actual conservatism.
Thanks for keeping PIAPs out of the office, but here’s a lovely parting gift.
Give me some limited government, stop with the collectivism (call it “nationalism” all you want, it’s still collectivism!)
I’m done with Trump. Never liked him anyway - he was always just my 3X “better than the alternative”.
I won’t get behind tossing him to the curb, but I certainly won’t complain if the leftists pull the trigger.
I don’t know who it is - my gut says DeSantis, but maybe it’s someone else - but sometimes Watergate leads to a Reagan.
If my twilight years leads to a Reagan v2? I’ll die happy.

Since Jeffries cannot answer the question What Is A Woman, why believe anything he says.

If it meant keeping Texas Red, I’d rather have PIAPs.

Yet more examples of you posting left-leannig sites, and that description is being generous, because they are all America hating sites that you post, including the WSJ.
Hakeem Jeffriesis assuming that he will be selected as ther House Speaker. Not convinced that will be the case at all.
Democrats have lost control of their party, just as the Republican lost control, and for the same reasons. Their base has lost confidence from their base.
I even agree with his statement but I have zero confidence tht his statement cariies any weight in reality. Same goes for Chuck Schumer as well. Him being Jewish doen't help his cause either, within the Democrat Party.
Let me ask does your delusion thinking really believe that the Democrats will do anything about affordability, or that they wil reduce prices. 🤣👍
Not only is history against you, their owen words are against you. For the only answer Democrats ever rely upom are to raise taxes, to spread the wealth around. Sooner rather than later they will be the ones who control ewealth, and then they will treat the citizens in the same manner as Iran does their citizens. Expendable trash.
But youy brain is actually incapable of being able to come to that conclusion because you possess zero critical thinking skills. let alone common sence reasoniing abilityies.

Impeachment would just be a waste of time. It’s far easier for them to push their agenda while Trump swings slowly in the breeze.

Translation: Impeachment and Getting Even Are Number One Priorities
This is too easy.

The Democrats have to deliver on economics and not spin their wheels on investigation after investigation.
Otherwise voters, especially the young ones, will simply not vote for them again.
Even for those with halfway decent jobs the cost of living is eating them alive.

Heh, fair.
I have a lot of Texas friends, but I keep thinking of this scene in a movie decades ago - ‘Dead Presidents’.
I guess this won’t make any sense if you haven’t seen it, but the older gangster (played by Keith David) who joins an armored car heist with a motley crew of leftist radicals and disillusioned Vietnam vets gets angry near the end where some of the guys on the heist start spending the money too quickly tells Lorenz Tate “That’s all your $@#$#@! friends! You fix it!”
