Hundreds of protesters stormed the Roman Colosseum and clashed with police at the historic gates as the demonstrations in France spread to Italy over the weekend.
The protesters, many of them young and waving Palestinian flags, were seen cheering and yelling inside the 2,000-year-old arena during the demonstrations in Rome as security forces pushed them out.
The tense scene was one of many across the country on Saturday as thousands marched in the streets of Rome, Milan, Turin and other cities to protest the current cost-of-living crisis and the ongoing war in Gaza.
The Colosseum had notably upped its security ahead of the protest following months of clashes with tourists running wild in the historic site, with the arena declared a security “red zone” last month.
Along with the clashes at the Colosseum, officials reported another violent confrontation with protesters near the Piazza della Repubblica, with police deploying tear gas and water cannons.

I will never again visit Europe. It used to be an amazing place. I consider myself fortunate to have visited when I first did, decades ago. At trip to England in 2023 forever cured me of any desire to see a once great civilization occupied by violent third world trash.
Rome is 80-10% Muslim. So of course they want total power.
Second the motion!
8-10%. Still waking up.
SHOOT TO KILL or BOMB THEIR COUNTRIES. W h y do we have to tolerate this nonsense? At some point THE PEOPLE will have had enough and put an end to this.
Animal cruelty. I'm certain they'd find the tast revolting.
“The tense scene was one of many across the country on Saturday as thousands marched in the streets of Rome, Milan, Turin and other cities to protest the current cost-of-living crisis and the ongoing war in Gaza.”
I don’t think they care that much about Gaza, but one thing that’s really IMRESSED me is the ability of European leaders to fool their public into thinking the their trade embargo with Russia has nothing to do with their lives being ruined, nothing at all.
(p.s., let’s see if some of the usual brainwashed Euroweenies have something to say, LOL)
Same here, we are so fortunate we got to see these places before the hordes of savages ruined them.

1) Pay them not to riot?
2) ?
I go to Europe every year. Just got home in late August after 75 wonderful days there. But I go to the places where they don’t have these problems! Poland, Croatia and Romania are amazing!
Because half of our citizens hate the Constitution, the Flag, our way of life for 400 years, etc. They want a European Muzzie-type world. The West is falling apart. The USA ain’t far behind if we don’t wake up. Sadly, the election may tell us where America is going. It will not be a pretty 2 years until the 28 elections. How stupid Americans are to soon forget the Biden disaster of 4 years, the lockdowns, the kids falling 4 years behind. Hell, they don’t even know how to talk to another kid face to face to ask for a date. The damned telephone caused a lot of it.
What’s the breakdown of the protesters? Probably mostly disaffected Italian yoots... Antifa-types.
“ Same here, we are so fortunate we got to see these places before the hordes of savages ruined them.”
Texas and NY better watch it. 8-10% is their goal
These subhumans are destroying the symbols of Western Civilization because they want to destroy it.
Excerpts from an interesting article about the French riots, but applies elsewhere.
Behind France’s student riots:
Communists, unions and a global propaganda network
How a transnational network of 50 groups mobilizes around school protests
only 1/3 are youth groups
… a movement that the media is mostly framing as students protesting deteriorating school conditions is actually part of an extensive infrastructure of unions, communist activists, far-left political parties and international media organizations that are organizing demonstrations…
and broadcasting the unrest around the world with “BREAKING” alerts.
… BreakThrough News is a pro-communist propaganda outlet based in New York City…
… an activist ecosystem extending far beyond the students who launched the demonstrations.
Of the network of 50 groups, 15 are student or youth groups…
The remaining 35 adult groups include a dozen labor unions; eight communist or socialist organizations…
… “The communist Red and the Islamist Greens have nothing in common but a common enemy, the Judeo-Christian, capitalist, free West, led by the U.S…
Their goal is to dismantle us.”
Yes
Now youse cant leave
Orcses!
I just came through DFW yesterday. Got coffee. The lady behind the counter was wearing a hijab, clearly proud of how she could see people reacting to her, complete with accent.
I had a flight to catch; else I would have told her, "Get the hell out of my country." Give her a few months and she'd be pregnant.
