The Washington Wizards opened their much-anticipated NBA season with a win, but Trump staffer Britt McHenry didn’t see it all.
McHenry was in attendance for the start of the game between the Wizards and Milwaukee Bucks Wednesday night, but the former Fox News and ESPN host was forced to leave Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., early after a heated incident with fans.
According to Page Six, McHenry and a friend were sitting in front of a group of fans who became loud and obnoxious. After they allegedly began heckling former Wizard and current Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma, McHenry supposedly asked the fans to “ease up,” which prompted them to redirect their attention toward her.
A source told Page Six that one of the fans escalated the situation by saying misogynistic things to McHenry before throwing a drink at the current Trump administration press adviser. McHenry retaliated by doing the same thing. Security later arrived to escort McHenry from the stands...

Sounds like a lefty!
Maybe or just the common rabble that attend sports events. I rarely had any problems attending for decades but one could observe the occasional kerfuffle. One of the things I don’t miss no longer going to such.
I had to read the article, because for a moment there I thought the fan was going to be allowed to remain at the game. I feel bad for McHenry, but I hope the fan spent a *LOT* for this game, only to be thrown out (with no refund).
I’d bet money it’s a RAT.
The Trump associated-person was booted, while the cretins stayed?
I would imagine whatever transpired was caught on camera ?
No, they both got tossed.
I see. The posting just said the Trump staffer. Thanks
Originally the Washington Wizards were called the Baltimore BULLETS. The name change occured shortly after they moved to DC as a hairbrained idea to reduce crime. Worked like a charm didn’t it?🙄
In 1997 there were 307 murders in Washington D.C. In 2024 after Trump took office there were only 127 murders.
I associate “Wizards” with “Imperial Wizards” of the KKK myself.
No, they were unfortunately in DC LONG before that change. Only the late ‘90s full-on political correctness brought the self-conscious silliness about the name.
wish we never removed the Baltimore Bullets bumper sticker from my brothers door. Along with his Nixon sticker.
“The Washington Wizards opened their much-anticipated NBA season...”
Liar.
I used to go see them in the 1980s when I was stationed in DC. They were in Landover, MD, their DC home. I wasnt a Bullets fan but would go when they played the Celtics or Lakers, Sixers, Pistons or other back then hot teams. I do remember Magic Bole, the tallest and skinniest player at the, time.
Manut, not Magic!
So did the team sell those empty seats to somebody else after they threw out the original ticket buyers? They could earmark the additional revenue as WNBA support funds or something.
