Karen Bass Desperately Needs the Voters Who Hate Her Most — and Spencer Pratt May Hold the Key
New York Post ^ | Oct. 22, 2026, | Jon Fleischman

Spencer Pratt lost his home in the Palisades Fire. Then he ran for mayor on one message: Karen Bass failed the Palisades. More than 200,000 voters believed him. Now the mayor’s political life is in their hands.

Pratt didn’t mince words. He accused city leaders of “criminal negligence.” He said they “let us burn.” On the debate stage he called Bass “an incredible liar,” and afterward he described standing next to her as being near “a real life monster.”

SNIP

The new California Post survey, conducted Oct. 15-18 by McLaughlin & Associates among 400 likely voters, has the headline numbers Opinion editor Joel Pollak laid out yesterday: Raman 46.7%. Bass 38.8%. Undecided 13.5%. Another 1% had already voted but refused to say for whom. Bass’s disapproval rating is 71.7%. The strange result is that Karen Bass has become the de facto Republican. She leads among registered Republicans 44% to 14% and Trump voters 45% to 14%. Conservatives back her 42% to 18%. Moderates, 55% to 28%.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Would a Republican do better next time if Raman won?

I’d vote for change to punish the incumbent Cuba lovin’ ‘tard.

Then it would only get tougher to soon get rid of the new worse ‘tard.

Tough row to hoe.

[Maybe “escape from LA”?]

She should make an open deal with Spencer.

Announce that she will install him as in charge of the rebuilding of his old neighborhood and the restoration/filling of all reservoirs.

The many disgusted residents of LA would have something to vote FOR. She’d win. And Spencer could do some GOOD and set himself up for the next mayoral race.

I don’t think Raman can assemble the political muscle Bass has in a re-election bid. Plus Bass has the Cuban machine backing her. So republicans probably may have a better chance next election with Raman. Either democrat commie will be a disaster.

This election was peak fraud. It was the most brazen stolen election of them all and they didn’t care how bad it looked. It does not matter who wins the runoff they are both awful.

If you ever want to run for office again, Spencer, I wouldn't come out in support of either one.
I know you would lose MY vote, forever.

She’d do it and then not give him any money to actually do the job.

Bass certainly didn’t win her first election.

I’m betting she didn’t win the second one, either.

If so, Bass wasn’t elected.

She was installed.

And if LA’s so liberal, why does Deep State have to steal its elections?

If I was unfortunate enough to live in L.A, the only choice I could make would be to vote with my feet and move somewhere else. It is hard to imagine who will be worse, dumb Karen or the dumberer commie.
