Democrats furious after pollster boosting far-left candidates admits fabricating surveys: ‘Absolute scumbags’

Democrats are up in arms after a so-called polling firm that projected far-left candidates as strong contenders in several primaries admitted that it had fabricated its polling data.

Wedgewood Polling, which billed itself as an election survey company, released a statement Tuesday night admitting it used "fabricated numbers" for an "experimental project to demonstrate the vulnerabilities, lack of oversight, and overall low barrier to entry in the modern political polling industry."

The group's polls were cited by Abdul El-Sayed's campaign amid a high-profile primary race against Michigan state Sen. Mallory McMorrow and U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens, D-Mich. The nonpartisan polling aggregator Political Polls also cited Wedgewood in the Wisconsin gubernatorial race, showing socialist Francesca Hong having an edge over Republican candidate Rep. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis.

"These people are absolute scumbags," veteran Democratic strategist and former Kamala Harris advisor Mike Nellis told Fox News Digital. "They can try to claim that they have some moral high ground here, but they lied about their polling data, got caught, and are freaking out because they've committed fraud."

"The people responsible for this should be run out of American politics, and if they can be, they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law," Nellis said. He added that both Democrats and Republicans, as well as the media, should reflect on how polling is verified "because there's likely other people that are doing things like this."

Love the Mike Nellis reaction. All I could think of when reading it was:

Lying scumbags are always fine if the dumprats think they are winning.
And now the lying scumbags are to blame as the dumprats get their asses kicked.

"high-profile primary race against Michigan state Sen. Mallory McMorrow and U.S. Rep. Haley Stevens,"

Reminder, the islamic terrorist beat Stevens by a single point, you won't believe how dumb she really is:

If someone paid them, then it wasn't an experiment, it was fraud. Unless of course, the people paying them knew what they were paying them for.

They did get paid and yes, the people paying knew what they were paying for. Love the power of “AND.”

Basically, it was fraud being committed by all parties involved, supplier and end user.

You pay for a poll and you get what you pay for.

I had the exact same though.

The evidence is piled a mile high for how dishonest the media and pollsters have been yet some just can’t accept the reality of it.

I got phone polled once, back in the 80’s. Never since.

You notice that neither you or people you know ever get polled. So who are these mysterious poll respondents?

Some polling companies have always “weighted” polls
If they “believe” one candidate is doing better, they add points to that candidate
“Does weighting on past vote or party affiliation make estimates perfectly accurate?
No. Weighting on party affiliation tends to make political poll estimates more accurate, but it does not make them perfect.”

Just like the Iowa pollster who predicted Harris would win the state in 2024. Scumbags is too generous a word to describe those evil pukes. /spit

The problem with the polling data and fake results, is that it got exposed before the election season was over. Otherwise, democrats were perfectly fine with the phony polls, and they likely got many gullible people to believe those polls and voted for the democrats in the primaries.

Fake polls which are accepted as gospel and then revealed to be totally phony, should result in felony indictments, just like illegal and fraud voting should result in felony indictments.

“ So who are these mysterious poll respondents?”
Mrs. VanShuyten has a Japanese name, and has been targeted for polls the last three election cycles. It’s gotten so that when we get called, I claim to be my wife, and they hang up.
