WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said he has struck a deal to obtain diesel from Russia, a stunning reversal of years of U.S. pressure on Moscow over its war with Ukraine and an attempt to address high fuel prices ahead of the U.S. midterm elections. Trump said on social media on Friday that he struck the deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin in a phone call in which he was expected to discuss a suspected case of plague in Russia. Instead, Trump announced that Russia will immediately supply more than 300,000 tons of diesel, followed by an additional 500,000 tons in November and 1 million tons “immediately thereafter.” Russia will deliver an additional 3 million tons “within a short period of time” after that, he wrote. Trump’s shocking announcement was in stark contrast to a sweeping Russia sanctions law he signed last month that aimed at clamping down on the oil and gas revenues that fuel Russia’s war against Ukraine.....

Poor Little St Z is melting down....
In Before The Angry DUHkrainians...
All the “Ukrainian Flags in bio” types have been melting down all night
Many from Europe saying Trump is funding the war against Ukraine …
When I point out European countries have been buying Russian energy since the war started they block me LOL
Maybe the EU shouldn’t have done this: https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/4398411/posts
I love how AP automatically sticks in words like “stunning” & “attempt,” just to make sure we understand what a dumb decision this in. I’m so glad we have the MSM to digest the news & then tell us what they think we should feel. 🤬
The AssPress...
You have to remember that that the Eurotards and their non-democracies are all about sticking the voiceless peasants with higher energy bills and Islamic headchopper-rapists.
Because they have no clue what "America First" means. Hope this pisses off their midget leader Zelensky.
Is the USA a net importer of Diesel?
Is North America a net importer of Diesel?

A present from Allegra.
We export 1.3 million diesel barrels/day,,,mostly to Mexico, UK, Brazil Netherlands.
Redundant twice over.

Two things can be true at once: buy Russian resources at cheap prices; and the more dead Russians, the better.
🤣🤣🤣 I love presents!!! Thanks!!
As President Trump, he just thanked President Putin for releasing tons of fuel, diesel into America about four hours ago.
.....and the Ukie war cheerleaders are having fits of rage....America First, go President Trump.
End the war(s) and then you will really see a difference in prices
Good. We’ve created enough millionaires in Ukraine. Time to cut and run. Looking forward to reading about where the money went and how it got there —— in five years or so.
Ukraine ping
Europe has bought $200b+ of Russian energy since the war began. Trump’s $400m diesel buy, followed by a couple of billion dollars worth, won’t make much of a dent in Russia’s war effort. In 2026 so far, Europe has bought $15b of Russian energy. More to come.
Diesel prices have doubled. People in farm country, some of Trump’s biggest supporters, could lose their land. To buy 1% of the Russian energy Europe has purchased since the invasion won’t win Russia the war, but the moderated diesel costs will keep many farmers afloat.
