NASA's Curiosity rover has captured breathtaking images of a Martian dawn, revealing mysterious cliffs emerging from the darkness.
Striking blue hues appear in the foreground as the morning light illuminates a series of crags known as yardangs in the distance.
The striking scene was snapped at 8.30am Mars time on August 11, the 4,982nd Martian day of the rover's lonely pilgrimage across the Red Planet.

What an incredible piece of engineering that rover is. It has been operating on the surface of Mars for over 14 years!

Remember all cultures are equal. Sub Sharan Africans could do this too if the wanted, but they have better ways to spend their energy than shooting off stupid rockets to other planets.
