Republicans are moving up to $10 million from North Carolina’s Senate race and putting it toward shoring up deep-red Kansas, The Post has learned, while the main Trump-backing super PAC and the official Senate GOP campaign arm are done spending in the Tar Heel State.
The Senate Leadership Fund, aligned with Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD), initially set aside $71 million to elevate North Carolina GOP nominee Michael Whatley — but is now cutting its losses after shelling out just $30 million, according to sources familiar with the super PAC’s thinking.
One of those sources suggested that at least $8.2 million is now being used to boost incumbent Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.), while another suggested the sum sent to the Sunflower State could top $10 million before Election Day Nov. 3.
At least $20 million is also being diverted to Iowa to help GOP Rep. Ashley Hinson keep the seat left vacant by retiring Sen. Joni Ernst (R-Iowa).
Another $14 million is going to the Ohio Senate race, where Sen. Jon Husted (R-Ohio) is seeking election to finish the term of Vice President JD Vance.

Maybe if the Senate would have done something the past 2 years they wouldn’t be having these issues.
They will blame Trump but this is 100% their fault!
Depressing that internals are proving the usually worthless polls are showing bad trends.
Someone said the fact Chuck Schumer is laying the groundwork for complaining about the GOP cheating as the reason for midterm victories means he takes seriously the Dem internals showing worse drops in Dem odds than we have been told about.
This GOP panic shows he needn’t worry.
The Israel tax we are paying at the pump and grocery store is on Trump. He should have kept his campaign promise.
RE: ...Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD), initially set aside $71 million...
So the new TV ads can say “If you don’t help us keep the GOP Senate majority you could lose Thune as Majority Leader.”
Followed by “Gosh, hate politics. I’m staying home this time.”
“Maybe if the Senate would have done something the past 2 years they wouldn’t be having these issues.
They will blame Trump but this is 100% their fault!”

It is EVERY bit Thune, and the rest of Senate leaderships pussy approach to almost EVERYTHING!!!If they lose the majority than can pat themselves on their own backs!
This is on them!!
DB’s!!!!
Thanks to the senators that picked leadership!!! /S
You are going to stay home and let the Communists win?
Are you a woman?
But he won't, the Dems might call him racist and it's better to be a gracious loser than have that.
Atrocious. Thune is useless.
Nope no such thing as the Israeli tax
Agree. There is no excuse for passively sitting out the most crucial midterm of our lifetimes.
So many take it for granted that Trump returned our freedoms in so many areas. And the Dems will quickly snatch them away.
Such as: You won’t be able to buy a gas car, no one can hire without compliance forms filled out for DEI. Have to comply with mythical climate change impacts on everything. Borders are wide open with illegals staying in hotels and getting free health care.
Yeah, I think Cooper will win simply because he’s in charge of the votes and used that 90k dump in Durham County to take out McCrory.
NC is a purple state. Remember John Edwards? He was the former Senator from North Carolina 20 years ago.
Shove your hatred.
One of the reasons why Bush I won in 1988 was due to that commercial on Willie Horton.
It is in national elections, and it’s very red in state legislative elections, but for governor elections, it’s probably locked in blue due to the sheer amount of votes from Charlotte and Raleigh.
You have to be an SOB to beat an SOB.
We tend to choose lousy candidates for Governor, it's that simple.
Trump won three times and before him, Romney won in 2012.
