President Donald Trump recounted what he called an “amazing” story from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about an Israeli plumber who helped save a FlyDubai plane after the co-pilot allegedly stabbed the pilot. Trump said he did not know if the story was true.

Its true, his name is Yaniv and he learned how to bring the plane back from a nosedive from a Canadian TV show..after he brought it back up a pilot came in and landed the plane in Saudi Arabia

Anyone who’s watched Airplane or any other movie involving emergency aerial maneuvers knows to pull the yoke back to get the plane out of a dive. A plumber likely understands the negative consequences of applying too much force too quickly, so he applied less than he might have, and it turned out to be the right amount. They were very, very lucky. If the Hindu pilot hadn’t used his last ounce of strength to open the door, they would have gone splat.

Coming out of a stall is counter intuitive. Since the air flow is no longer lifting the plane trying to pull up from a stall fails. To recover from a stall you actually have to push down and then pull up.
