Americans have never trusted the Supreme Court less

How Americans say they feel about how the Supreme Court is handling its job

Americans' trust and confidence in the judicial branch has hit a new low as the Supreme Court prepares for a new term, according to Gallup.
The big picture: The justices return to the bench after spending their summer making consequential emergency-docket decisions allowing some (but not all) of President Trump's most controversial executive actions to proceed.

Driving the news: Since 2022, fewer than half of Americans have reported a great deal or a fair amount of trust and confidence in the judicial branch, headed by the Supreme Court — a share that had never dipped below 50% before in Gallup's trend stretching back to 1972.
Between the lines: The percentage who reported at least a fair amount of trust in the judicial branch slipped below half for the first time in Gallup's trend in September 2022, some three months after the justices voted to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Yes, but: The Republican in the White House has been displeased with his own SCOTUS picks this term.
What we're watching: The court will release an order list and hear its first oral arguments of the term on Monday in cases related to climate change and veterans' benefits.
Go deeper: Trump turns on the Supreme Court he helped build

On any given day, I trust about 2/7 of them. Maybe 3 out of 7.

I’d bet more than half of Americans couldn’t name 4 Justices.

People don’t keep up with the Supreme Court Justices, this is really a survey of how the media is treating the SC in news coverage at the time.

Just think, if our Uniparty Congress did their damned job for a change as decades roll by we wouldn’t be $40 trillion in debt and SCOTUS wouldn’t be making all these rulings and leaving RINOs begging for votes. JMO.

Yup- they go by what the criminal liberal media tells them...

If you remember in the lead up to the obamacare ruling the criminal liberal media was telling Americans the court needed to be disbanded because no one believed they would approve obamacare...of course once they did that same criminal liberal media was hailing “the court saved themselves!!”

Pretty Accurate. The Wise Latina is so far left, she barely makes the chart.

Supreme Court political leanings: Justices by ideology

A compromised woman was confirmed into America’s highest court who showed herself to be so compromised that she refused to tell the truth of the biological definition of a woman. I do not trust a compromised woman to do the right constitutional thing when it serves her personally to do a compromised agenda. Do not ever vote for democrats to run our government.

This is what happens when the USSC’s primary criterion for adjudicating cases brought to them changes from “original intent” to “political convenience”.

The fact that the SCOTUS approval ratings dropped sharply following the Dobbs decision indicates that the survey was based on the opinions of lying, perverted, murdering, traitorous Demonicrats.

Last time I answered a poll was years ago when I realized (as a conservative) I was being set up to give answers to assist democrats with a delusion.

The questions were brilliant in that task.

Haven’t answered a poll since. I’m guessing between conservatives refusing to participate, slanted questions, call numbers favoring democrats and questionable pollsters - - that most polls are biased in democrat’s favor and worthless.
