WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Tuesday removed obstacles to the Trump administration deporting certain immigrants to “third countries” to which they have no previous connection.
The justices, with the court’s three liberals dissenting, granted an emergency request filed by the government seeking to block an appeals court ruling that said the current process is unlawful because the affected people are not given a proper chance to raise concerns about safety risks in violation of federal immigration law.
In the brief unsigned order, the court also said it would hear oral arguments in December and issue a definitive ruling on the legal questions raised in the litigation.

Since SCOTUS has allowed deportations, that is the end of SCOTUS’ legal interest in this situation. Short of FedGov/ICE pushing them out of a plane over the Gulf of America, where the deportees end up is not a legal matter. SCOTUS should butt out.

A couple of thoughts.
Older conservative Supremes should think about leaving the court if it’s still possible for Trump to replace them. (Yes, it’s a crap shoot. But we don’t want to be in the position that Ruth Bader Ginsberg left the communists in.)
And, if people want to control what country they go to, then go there now. Don’t wait for the US government to make the choice. Unfortunately, the courts have given them all hope that THEY won’t be extradited.
I wish the US would concentrate on ridding us of Muslims.
