GOP Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky introduced articles of impeachment Tuesday against Secretary of War Pete Hegseth for high crimes and misdemeanors.
This comes just days after reports surfaced about Congressional Democrats laying the groundwork for Hegseth’s impeachment if they retake the House of Representatives this November.
“Mr. Speaker … I seek recognition to give notice of my intent to raise a question of the privileges of the House. The form of the resolution is as follows,” Massie began.

When the Democrats started a war or got us involved, which we didn’t call a war, in Libya 2011 and Syria 2014 (we attacked and invaded these nations), when they caused a war in Ukraine under Biden’s leadership, did the Republicans immediately try to impeach everyone? Did the Republicans immediately try to cut funding to everything? Did the Republicans immediately declare our nations adversary as being victorious?
Republicans like some loyal dog support the DOW and our nations interests. They will shut their mouth and play nice even under Democrat leadership and in a conflict such as Ukraine which could have EASILY been exploited (lots of ammunition). 100 arguments that could be used: cancelled elections, Nazi military and paramilitary formations, ethnic Russian areas and the abuses against them, the fact that this war was likely a reaction to NATO East expansion, the expansive use of mercenaries from other countries (Columbia, Brazil...) we are essentially paying for, corruption, forced conscription, the use of US tax dollars for IO operations that targeted the US population, US weapons ending up in Gaza/Hamas hands, the 240 dead Americans (but no one in our msms cares about that) by the time Biden left office, the fact that we were in this war 3 years when Biden left office... Nope, the Republicans did not break ranks.
Democrats play opposition politics when in power. Iraq 2003, Iran today... They almost immediately go negative and exploit every angle and bad news to their political advantage by positioning themselves against the administration, even if this puts soldiers lives at risk!
That’s a message I think people need to know / understand when voting this November.
