I love the guy. Doesn't mean I with him on everything. I love the way he talks about his family.

I thought I would follow up on his comment that both his father as his famous uncle served in WWII. I think we all know of Jack Kennedy's service on a PT Boat. But, I didn't know of his father's service. So, I looked it up. Would you believe he served aboard the USS Joseph Patrick Kennedy Jr, a destroyer named his oldest brother? It's now a museum ship.

I realize that these are tough times politically. We're down in the polls and, besides, the tendency is for the party in the White House to suffer losses in the mid-terms. But, it was genius of Trump to add Kennedy and Tulsi Gabbard to his political team.

Yes, it was! And for all of his uncle’s episodes in banging multiple women, we can at least say that he loved his country.

And for all of his uncle’s episodes in banging multiple women...

I'm no longer certain that is true.

On various fronts, JFK was making enemies. Like the CIA ("Rip it up into 1000 pieces, scatter to the winds"). Like the FED (EO 11110, Treasury prints silver notes). Elements of the mafia felt double-crossed. The FIB too. THen, there was the goings on with Dimona and nukes.

LBJ raked in the silver notes, and stopped the threats to the CIA. Whose to say that the folks that took down JFK also made sure to take him down a few notches in the history books, vis-a-vis womanizing over Jackie.

But, not helping my point, there was Ted "The Swimmer" Kennedy.

I thought I’d share one of my Bobby Kennedy stories. A sister-in-law of mine, divorced, asked if I would accompany her to Arlington so she could pay her respects at the grave sites of Jack and Bobby Kennedy.

Jack Kennedy has an impressive gravesite, including the eternal flame. Possibly you know what I’m talking about.

Bobby has a modest gravesite. I thought it was poignant in its simplicity.

My sister-in-law said Jack’s gravesite was not the Kennedy family’s decision. When you are president, she said, you belong to the country.

I think that talk about the “tendency”, after 2020, is just whistling past the graveyard.

America has an electoral system and it has been rigged, probably for my entire life.

I think he was with a lot of women - apparently his dad was no different. The sons weren’t raised to be monogamous. Jackie wasn’t an innocent victim either - she knew her future husband was a lot like her dad.

As for JFK’s politics - I wish he’d come back and lead the democrats out of their total anti-American insanity!

The speech. The best line is how the democrats didn’t go against the 2nd amendment because there is a second amendment. Got a lotta laughs.

I thought it was a great speech, too. I wish Democrats would hear it to see how their party changed.

Bobby Jr. admitted he was Trump Deranged until DJT called him only three hours after the democrat assassination attempt at Butler PA.

Way respect for Trump.

He also blamed Trump Derangement on the media.

Here is the transcript:

Robert Kennedy Jr.: I’m 72 years old. And for 70 years of my life, I would have bet any amount of money that I would not be addressing a Republican convention.

Let me tell you something.

The irony of my presence here is inescapable. I attended my first Democratic convention in 1960 when I was 6 years old, and I attended most of the conventions, the Democratic conventions after that, and I spoke as a keynote speaker in many of them. I grew up in a Democratic Party of Franklin Roosevelt, of my Uncle John Kennedy, of my father, Robert Kennedy. And ours was a party— Ours was a party of strong principles, of clear policies, and an inspiring idealistic vision for America. My uncle ran on a platform of tax cuts, strong defense, and fighting communism.

The Democrats of that era stood with labor and working people and the American middle class. Nearly every cop and firefighter was a Democrat. Our party was a champion of the Bill of Rights and particularly for unbridled free speech. It was wary of centralized government power and corporate privilege and secret intelligence agencies. My uncle and father understood the connection between free markets and functional democracy. They stood firmly against crony capitalism on the right and socialism on the left. They were all for competition, for meritocracy, and for excellence, which they thought should be a universal aspiration for Americans.

My father and uncles had served in World War II, and they understood the difference between forever wars that they opposed and wars to protect our national security, which they believed we should never hesitate to defend.

My family played critical roles in building NIH and CDC into centers of gold standard science that transformed America into this relentless dynamo. of international research.
