A working plan is being discussed to facilitate the departure of Palestinian families from Gaza and their reunification with relatives in Europe, according to reports from well-sourced security channels.

Though European Union officials and member states have consistently rejected mass resettlement schemes for Gazans, the reported proposal, which began taking shape around two months ago, envisions an initial framework starting in early 2027 to transfer around 40,000 Palestinians to European countries over several months. Greece, Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, and, of course, the United Kingdom are cited among the prospective destinations.

England appears to be in the position of the Christian lands as the first Mohammedan hordes began to sweep across Persia and North Africa. Many Christians (cultural Christians, not necessarily actual ones) are still in place and but dhimmi status is settling upon them as they now legally may not offend Mohammedans in speech and Mohammedans are in charge of most city governments and many are in the national government.

The single biggest mistake that Israel made, imho, after October 7th, was not breaking (perhaps under cover of darkness) the fence at Rafah Crossing - the border between Israel and Egypt - which would have allowed Gazan refugees to stream into the Sinai, where they could have been housed in tents and given aid.

That would have left just Hamas fighters and supporters in Gaza, where they could have been freely targeted with less loss of life on both sides. When (not if) Egypt raised a hue and cry, Israel could respond with the classic ‘dinseenuffin, dindoonuffin’ response. ‘Who did that?’, ‘not us!’.

Failure to do that meant that the Gazans could be used as weaponized victims - and the Israelis have paid a heavy price for that - in soldiers lives, Gazan lives and heavy international condemnation - which was the Hamas plan. Remember, this is a group that had 350 miles of tunnels to shelter civilians in and purposely did not, exposing them to injury and death. Not to mention shooting at them when they tried to evacuate to IDF declared safe(r) zones.

Btw, lest someone say, ‘Couldn’t Hamas fighters conceal themselves among those taking refuge in the Sinai?’ The reply to that is that in order to be let back into an (ideally Israeli-controlled Gaza) when the fighting is over, they would only be let back in after careful vetting, especially males of fighting age (yes that is broad - roughly age 14-75, to be honest). That screening would also give the IDF a chance to find 10/7 attackers who had tried to flee.

Anyway, now everyone is dealing with Gazans. And only Europe is foolish enough to want to take them in.

The Gazans are not welcome in Egypt. They were prohibited from entering Egypt. They are from Gaza and they are bad.
