Arm pushed back, arguing the show’s framing was too charitable, that "you were suggesting, the show was suggesting, Piker’s comments were essentially just that antisemitism is rising because Jews are Zionist."
Cornish cut him off with rising irritation:
“If you're going to come on the show, I need you to listen.I really need you to listen and respond to the things I say. Because we spend a lot of time writing this stuff, and I didn’t use any of the words you just said....
"Do not put words in my mouth! It’s something that really bothers me, ’cause I spend a lot of time trying to be careful for the audience. So if you wanna tell me what you hear in what Piker said, let’s do it. But please don’t put words in my mouth.
