Been ok here. Just trying to avoid the heat as much as possible.

Strictly speaking, this song is not Country, but I see it as Western. It reminds me of the bright, dry, open prairies of our South West, and the majestic Condors who still live there.

Listen for the Pan Flutes in the intro and refrain.
They will hold you still and guide you. I knew I loved this performance of that song the first time I heard it in 1972. Shortly after that, I began reading the Carlos Casteneda Books on The Teachings of Don Juan.
