Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) on Tuesday said President Trump will have to resume a full war with Iran days after the initial failed ceasefire deal expired.
Asked if the president should follow through on his threat last month to “bomb and destroy” at least “ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT” near Tehran if the Iranian regime fired at U.S. ships in the Strait of Hormuz, Scott answered in the affirmative.
“I think he’s going to have to,” the Florida Republican told NewsNation’s Blake Burman in an appearance on “The Hill.”
“I mean, here’s a president that doesn’t like war. None of us do. Here’s a president that doesn’t want to put troops in harm’s way. None of us do,” Scott continued. “And so, he’s given diplomacy a chance. Iran has walked away from it.”
He added that, “at some point, he will not have a choice but to do more to destroy their ability to produce weapons. But they are not going to have a useful weapon while President Trump’s president.”

As a goodbye present take out all their bridges, power, plants, and water treatment facilities. Fixing that will keep 'em real busy for a while.
“Trump will have to resume full war with Iran”
D+60. Choose wisely.
I suspect our Iran strategy is like the old quip about ducks.
Looks calm on top of the water, but there’s lots going on underneath.
I remain confident in President Trump and our military.
(sure haven’t heard much lately from Pahlavi)
First he’ll have to get permission from the “Mothers Of Sailors With Cellphones” Club back in America.
Perhaps the only way to win is to wipe out Shia Islam.
Start with Qom and Karbala.
Mad Mo’ knows but one thing.
Apparently Senator Scott is simply behind on current events. I’m sure someone from the White House will tell him we’ve already won the war eight times this year.
Irrelevant for gas prices.
* Treasury intervention again (yen two week ago) in attempt save the United States Debt, keeping all essential retail prices high (paper money towards wheelbarrow status).
* Work sweat Millstones for the regular folks, way beyond wage proportions decades ago 🛑
* Stiff arm to the face, by the Federal Bond Debt. ✖️
No, we’ve made them all the more determined than ever to develop a nuke and get revenge ASAP. There can be no cut and run now.
If troops on the ground and bombing were a strategy, I would think after 6 months, Trump would have went there.
Instead, he’s taking the “low keyed” approach. Whatever that means.
Apparently Scott doesn’t know we have the Mother of All MOUs, the MOAMOU, yet to be unleashed.
To resume a full war would have to mean that Trump would have started a full war in the first place sometime previously.
A lot of empty threats and a few scattered bombing raids does NOT constitute a "full war".
The gulf states are building pipelines with haste. Soon the Strait of Hormuz will experience a trickle of boat traffic.
Politically we couldn’t get 25% of Americans to support another blood-soaked black hole like Vietnam, Afghanistan or Iraq.
This guy sounds like he wants to serve with 80 Democrats in the U.S. Senate.
I’m sure Scott and Trump both know more than you about the actual situation ...
Full war means ground troops….ain’t gonna happen!
I’m sorry I didn’t post a “/sarcasm” tag, but I thought “Mother of All MOU’s” made it more than obvious. I will do better next time.
