Convicted killer Karmelo Anthony has won his first legal battle as he seeks to have his conviction for killing Austin Metcalf thrown out.
The 19-year-old was convicted in June and sentenced to 35 years behind bars for murdering the 17-year-old athlete at a high school track meet in April of last year.
On Wednesday, the trial judge who presided over the case was removed from the case as Anthony appeals his conviction.
His legal team argued that a retrial was warranted in part because state District Judge John Roach enforced overly strict courtroom rules and gave an interview after the trial was over.
A new judge will be assigned for Thursday's hearing on the retrial request.
Anthony attended the hearing in Collin County wearing a green jump suit. His parents and Metcalf´s parents also were in the courtroom.
After the order to remove Roach, Anthony supporters cheered in the courthouse hallways and outside the building.
The two teenagers were at a football stadium in Frisco, Texas, for a track meet when a verbal confrontation under a high school tent between the boys escalated.

This kind of crpp wouldn’t be a problem if the authorities dealt with killers in the correct way.

These legal proceedings are just SOP in the routine appeals process.
This turd world country doesn’t have a justice system except for the illegal alien azhos who come here illegally to kill and commit crimes against the gringos. If you don’t like your sentence, just go back into one of our clown courts and tell them you want it changed. Americans have become the largest jircle cerk of clowns in the universe.

Whatever, hope taxpayers get value by AGAIN proving this kid is GUILTY.
Now that America has officially become a communist country, every azho connected to the courts should be required to have more than a junior high diploma to conduct trials. Right now, every “judge”, “lawyer”, and “juror” all show signs of tremendous mental issues that prevent them from doing their jobs. Sorry but Caramel MURDERED A CAUCASIAN KID. That is supposed to be a HATE crime. The boy should be in prison. If that scares the crap out of the “judges”, I recommend that we make vigilantism LEGAL and leave resolving the crimes against the innocent to the victim’s families handle. Incidentally, this was not a win for anything but a reviewing judge on the most specious of claims. He’s staying in Texas prison. 35 years.. because he is on video and multiple in person witnesses (all threatened by these blm types as well) killing this athlete all in the presence and location of their team booth at the event.
