Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison wants Texas to hand over the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer accused of shooting an illegal immigrant in Minneapolis earlier this year — then lying about the circumstances of the confrontation.
Ellison filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Texas Gov. Greg Abbott in a bid to compel the Lone Star State to turn over the agent, Christian Castro, to Minnesota authorities.
“Christian Castro has been charged with breaking the law in Minnesota,” Ellison told reporters Tuesday. “He must face justice in Minnesota. Gov. Abbott should have granted [Minnesota] Gov. [Tim] Walz’s extradition request long ago and is required to do so now.”
“Christian Castro is not above the law, and Greg Abbott isn’t either.”
Castro is accused of shooting of Venezuelan migrant Julio Sosa-Celis amid a chaotic anti-ICE protest on the evening of Jan. 14, while resident Trump’s Operation Metro Surge was in full swing in Minnesota.
Initially, the Department of Homeland Security indicated that Castro had been ambushed by Sosa-Celis and two other illegal immigrants, who beat the agent with snow shovels and the handles of brooms

MINN-—THE MOUSE THAT ROARED
“Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof.”
Well, there you go. Let’s ask the lawyers how this applies to the present case.
Minnesota is in a state of insurrection relative to Federal law. In our past, Presidents Washington, Jackson, Lincoln, Grant, Eisenhower, Kennedy, and Lyndon Johnson dealt with state and local level defiance of Federal law with military force. Trump should heed the precedent.
It seems obvious now that Trump will lose the midterms (maybe even honestly, given public fatigue with constant GOP betrayals), and then he will be impeached. Might as well just let it all hang out after that: declare MN and its treasonous Blue neighbors in a state of rebellion and remove their traitorous leaders. Couldn’t hurt a country that has fatally damaged itself already.
Love that movie
The Rat Who Roared.
No, it isn’t obvious.
Maybe Texas should extradite Walz and Ellison to stand trial for their malfeasance that resulted in the $9 Billion loss of Federal taxpayer funds, some of which belong to Texas residents.
can you provide me which stocks to buy, I am having tough time predicting the future.
It seems obvious? Obvious to whom? And it seems like some folks believe the BS however it is spoon fed into their itsy bitsy beaks.
Obvious? Take a deep breath. Now hold it. Forever.
Its not up to Texas. The ICE agent is a Federal employee. Talk to DHS. Nobody is arresting an ICE agent!🙄
Sure Ellison, you Muslim piece of shit. Send down a Ford econoline 1500 with 6 white tunic somali scumbags. Come and get him. Ellison. What a f’in loser.
Seven letters.
Starts and ends with F.
Can you fill in the blanks?
Make him a Designated Marksman and make a short vid on presenting him with a DMR during his promotion.
In Christian’s acceptance remarks he should mention how much he likes the upcoming cold weather training...
That should give Keith a little something to think about.
.
“Obvious? Take a deep breath. Now hold it. Forever.”
